"The worst deep tissue massage I ever received (Jennifer). The first clue should have been the 1.5 inch pointy nails. Add to that the fact that the room was not ready for me and she took some of my massage time to finish putting a towel on the head rest, turn on the music, and finish responding to a text. Twice she took out her cell phone while massaging me. There were no questions regarding where my trouble spots were only question was whether or not I had any allergies. Twice I had to tell her to lighten up on the pressure on my calves. She pressed so hard on them they were tender and painful to the touch for a week. There were no support cushions under my ankles or knees. She started by massaging my right foot for about 5 minutes and barely touched my left. I have a lot of knots on my left shoulder area. Her first time touching that area was with her forearm and a lot of pressure. I screamed out in pain. Her comment was:"Oh you have a sore shoulder" then never went back. I didn't stay the full hour because I was concerned for my safety. I don't for one minute believe the reviews on the Groupon site. Maybe this "Toni" person, who owns the spa, is a qualified massage therapist but clearly the person who was assigned to me was not. Honestly for a spa owner to allow an unqualified person to give someone a deep tissue massage, is dangerous and irresponsible. When I described my experience to my regular therapist she stated that if I had had blood clot issues in my leg, I could have been killed."

"I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and these people! My wedding party and I spent the morning with Jessika, Kacey, Jaclyn and more getting ready for my wedding. Jaclyn was an absolute dream to help me plan and coordinate such a large group, and was able to make last minute accommodations so everyone felt beautiful. Plus, she made sure we all had plenty of mimosas! Jessika truly brought all my hair dreams to life and helped me pick out the perfect hair accessory at our practice session. My hair was beautiful and lasted all day! Kacey did my aesthetics (brows, makeup) and made me feel and look so beautiful, but still like myself. My makeup didn’t budge all day! My bridal party all felt well taken care of, and gorgeous as well. I am so grateful for everything the Refinery did to make my day so special. They are the best!!"

I had the harmonizing facial , full face wax and the best massage package ever which included a foot soak to start, 3 calming oils to chose from for facial towel wrap, parrifen wax wrap for hands and a foot and calf massage too.
