"I find it noisy there but I'm getting used to it. Most of the noise comes from staff chatting loudly across the room. Once I was seated right next to the water/supplies area. For an entire hour staff would come to drain their bucket and refill. So a constant glug glug glug noise from the drain with the comings and goings of staff. Of course each staff would exchange a few words with my therapist while filling their bucket. There is no consistency in the performance of a therapist. You have to know which one you want to work with. I recommend James for a good neck/shoulder relaxation before foot massage. Queenie is good for deep muscle therapy massages. However you have to be open to being in pain for a day or two afterwards. What i like best about BIG FEET is that they're open until late at night and you can make last minute appointments."

"Terrible. Went because I had a very important occasion and wanted to get my eyebrows done, I had been here before. The aesthetician left my eyebrows incredibly uneven as she removed much more off the bottom of one of the eyebrows. When I commented this to her she insisted that it was not her fault my face is uneven. Her response was rude and the skin around my eyebrows is incredibly irritated. Terrible service, I will not be coming again"

"I had a haircut today at Ardeo salon. The cut was good, and I got some really good tips on my hairstyle, however, make sure you pay separately for the haircut and the products if you buy any, as they run the whole amount through the till and then you add tips. So, I added tips on: haircut + products + tax. I didn’t realize that till I got to the car. I was happy with my hair but had a bad taste in my mouth while I was leaving."

"We are very familiar with the Harrison Hot Springs area, as it’s only about an hour and a half’s drive from Vancouver — a perfect distance for family trips with seniors who prefer not to travel too far. Accommodation options here are either very high-end or quite basic, and it's hard to find good mid-range places. This motel’s newly renovated two-bedroom suite was a wonderful surprise! The suite is spacious, bright, and offers a stunning floor-to-ceiling view of Harrison Lake. One bedroom has a king-size bed, the other has two queen-size beds, and there’s also a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a large fridge, cookware, and seasonings — perfect for families. Even better, two adjacent guest rooms are also available, allowing the space to host around 14–16 people altogether. It's a fantastic option for small group retreats or team-building events. The location is excellent: just a two-minute walk to the Harrison Public Hot Springs Pool, with plenty of restaurants and cafés downstairs. A leisurely evening walk by the lakeside was the perfect way to end the day. We were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely come back again!"

"booked last-minute at Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa and ended up with one of the cabins outside — it was the only thing available. I checked in pretty late around 7 p.m., but when I got to my room, it hadn’t even been turned over by housekeeping. There were dirty sheets, glasses, and leftover food still everywhere. Definitely not the first impression I expected, especially given the late check-in time. I called the front desk right away, and to their credit, they handled it really professionally. They apologized and offered to send someone to clean it immediately. I decided to head out for a bit, and when I returned, they had not only cleaned it up but also offered me a complimentary upgrade to a higher floor room inside the hotel instead of the cabin. That upgraded room was awesome — clean, comfortable, and made my stay so much better. Overall, the situation started off rough but the way the staff handled it really turned things around. It was disappointing to experience that in the first place, but their customer service helped save the experience. I would stay again — just double-checking the room first next time."

"Disclaimer - haven't been to many spas in general, and I am more of a practical minded person. My partner and I came to Elmwood over the summer for a couple's essential retreat which included the couple's swedish massage, three course lunch at the terrace restaurant, and 55 minutes of water therapy. Overall I'd say our experience was okay. The couple's massage was good overall, nothing wrong with the quality though I would say as far as the value for money goes, it was no better than what I get at my normal RMT for half the price. The lady working the waiting area outside of the massage rooms was also coughing like crazy and had no mask on. Our meal was pretty good. The kitchen actually made a mistake and accidentally put whipped cream instead of the dill cream on my tartar, but our waitress was very on the ball and actually came to me shortly after I started eating it to say she thought that cream didn't look right, and brought it back to the kitchen. Otherwise the meal was good. Where I really don't see the value is what is marketed as water therapy. It's a pool and a hot tub and a sauna. And this area was very busy, and since we came on a weekend it was not designated a quiet zone. Not the most relaxing experience when you've got noisy chatterboxes having conversations at full volume while you're in a small hot tub with them. Plus at the limited number of other spas I've been to, places like the pool/hot tub/sauna were for use for as long as you want, as opposed to a time limit. We were looking for something to do after our massage, before our scheduled lunch, so we asked if we could go into the water therapy area and we were basically told no because we weren't scheduled. Also, based on my understanding the women's change room has a whirlpool, while the men's room has a tv. According to some of the staff, this was a conscious decision based on a survey or something. But the way i see it is i have a TV at home I can watch, I don't have a whirlpool at home. So maybe it's just me, but my personal opinion is this is a bit of a miss. Overall, okay experience, probably wouldn't come back but worth a go if you've never been."

They take pride in what they do and it comes through from the start when they greet you with their warm smiles to the moment you leave. I highly recommend their waxing & esthetics services. I’ve had some very bad waxing experiences before at other places before I found Rebalance4Men. Never again. There has never been an issue with Marcos. He has an amazing approach and takes great care to keep the pain to a minimum. The conversation is always great, which distracts you from it all. And of course, the results are amazing! The massages with João are a pure self indulgence for me. The salt scrub followed by a warm candle massage are treatments that are to die for. You literally just float away. Again, the pride in his massage shows right away. He checks in to see if you are comfortable. And he is intuitive to your muscles needs. "10/10 for the instructors, classes, and interior design. Beautiful aesthetic with great classes. I bought the 3 day all access pass including sauna, somadome and ?tonic bar. When I checked in I let them know it was my first time but I wasn’t given much more than a 5 second explanation of where the change room and where my class would be although online it said to arrive 30 mins early to get aqainted with the studio and I probably only needed 5 mins? It would have been nice if it was explained where everything was without having to ask. I still don’t really know what a tonic bar is and what exactly I had access to. I think the lack of stars is basically because that welcome to our studio feeling and warm tour at the beginning was not present. Classes and change rooms are very busy and full so I ended up just walking back to my hotel to shower instead of the using the facilities to shower. I would still maybe return because I found the classes and instruction great and it is very beautiful inside but perhaps a protocol for new guests should be regularly implemented to create that warm welcome environment. I see I wasn’t the only one who felt this way based on some of the other reviews as well."

"The pregnancy massage here wasn’t very effective. It was very gentle and didn’t help with my back pain. I tried another massage place, and it was much better. Additionally, they don’t offer insurance direct billing, which is something most other places do. I’m giving three stars because my husband enjoys the massages here—so their regular RMT services seem to be good. However, I wouldn’t recommend spending money on their pregnancy massage."

"When I got there, the woman who was supposed to be doing my massage was still with her previous client. Instead of making me wait until she was done, the woman at the front desk (owner perhaps) ushered me into a room and had me get ready for a massage. Then she (owner) came in and started doing my massage, while telling me that she normally doesn’t do massages. After about 10 minutes she left to go take a call or tend to a customer so I waited for a few minutes. Finally the person who was initially supposed to do my massage cane in. I was there for a 60 minute massage. She spent about 40 minutes just on my back. Barely touched my feet and legs. The oils used felt cheap. The room was cold. There was a heating lamp in the room, but she kept moving it away from me so pretty much the entire time, my feet were icy. And lastly, I could hear everything happening outside. I only gave this more than 1 star because I used the groupon so I didn’t spend that much and the back massage was at least good."
