"I recently pinched my back and thought I would try a massage to try to loosen it up. I found Lars at Pure Body Balance had an opening the next day and so glad I did. I wasn't cured, but the next day I felt 80% better, and now two days later, almost back to 100%. This hasn't happened to my back in a few years but when it has, I was usually suffering for 10 days - 2 weeks. I'm grateful for Lars and the kindness I experienced at the studio. I have scheduled a supplementary visit in a few weeks and might just make it a regular maintenance thing. Namaste????????"

"Service: I went here for a 60 min foot massage. Peter was my therapist and he was amazing at the massage. He really worked on my concerns and made sure to check with me about pressure and pain points. I feel relaxed and light in my legs now. "Alright, I'll address a few things in this review. First, I've been coming here for about a year now and haven't had any issues whatsoever. With respect to cleanliness, during the more sensitive COVID or flu periods, the masseuses were always masked. I've never had an instance where I felt unsafe as a result of a health issue. With respect to the quality of massages this place is class. They have specific masseuses for specific needs, whether you're looking for a harder massage, a softer one, or a more relaxing experience. I've been with 4 different masseuses in my time here and none of them have left me disappointed. The prices are quite reasonable in this area, and anyone who particularly enjoys massages knows that other areas are often significantly more expensive. That's all I can think of for now. Shoutout to Jenny for a really hard massage and my favourite (I won't name her or her schedule will fill up) for a good time, every time. Enjoy the spa."

"I booked the Signature Facial for my birthday and had an amazing experience! As soon as I walked into the spa, the hectic energy of Queen Street faded away and I was offered slippers and a ginger tea. My facial with Bernadette was wonderful - she did some extraction, but not too much (I was going out for dinner later, so that was perfect for me), and included a head, neck, arm, and foot massage - heavenly!! My skin looks glowy today. Would definitely book again!"

It was probably just an off day for her—completely understandable—but it left me feeling disappointed, especially since it was my only free time, and I was hoping for some relaxation. However, the salon’s customer care is truly amazing. They reached out to me after hearing about my experience and offered me a complimentary facial to make it right. That gesture alone was impressive, and it showed me how much they value their clients. When I came back for the facial, I was paired with Leslie—and wow, I’m so glad I gave the salon another chance. "Just went to the Blitz Facial Bar for the first time. I had Abby take care of my skin. When I came in, the receptionist was really friendly. The space is beautifully designed and is aesthetically pleasing without being too overwhelming. The consultation itself was brief and straight to the point, which I really appreciated. Abby suggested some skincare tips to me without making me feel self-conscious or insecure about my acne- which I something I've never had with another aesthetician before. The prices for the service are also very reasonable, and affordable for a post-secondary student like myself. Abby addressed all of my skin concerns and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be coming back regularly for future skin treatments, and am looking forward to coming back / progress in my skin."

I was drawn in by the description of Julia on the website, but unfortunately, my experience did not match that portrayal. I booked a 30-minute session, but she seemed to be in a hurry and appeared focused more on her business than on providing quality service. Her communication was cold and ingenuine. Ultimately, while the receptionist provided great customer service, my overall experience was not as expected. I would not recommend Julia based on my experience."

"I've been going to this Inner beauty clinic since last year and never go back to the massage therapist I had before. Filipino massage therapists is really a top tier as they are well trained. Their new clinic has a lot of space and the ambiance is really welcoming. Booking for your appointment is really easy as they have a lot of people to work for you. They have a lounge and soon they will have a restaurant to complete the package. They offer a lot of services too not just massage. They also have a street parking so it's not hard to park for your appointment. I will totally recommend this place!"

"I got the voucher and already had low expectations due to the over promising and exaggerations of what things were worth/what you save. I still thought it would be fine to give a small business a chance, but there is a severe lack of care and professionalism here. I would absolutely not recommend this place. The services provided were basically an at home level of professionalism and quality. The IPA laser was a handheld device that did nothing for hair removal. The chemical peel was a cream that did not peel at all. To boot, the second time around I had to pay a gratuity fee for the service, a fine print on the back of the pamphlet. I wouldn’t have minded if it actually was effective… which it was not. The staff member by A.F who did the treatments was nice, so I hold no resentment to her. But I had nothing but horrible interactions with the owner. I booked online for Sunday; turns out they’re closed on Sunday and left no indication of that on their online booking service. I showed up to a locked door, and basically got nothing but “sorry” in response when I texted to ask about my appointment that had already been confirmed by email. I called to book an appointment and had it verbally confirmed. I showed up; door was locked. When A.F came in for my service a few hours later, there were children blasting their iPads in the front room while I was asked to wait there as well. They didn’t move from the couch leaving me to awkwardly stand. It is not a problem to bring your children to work, but there is a boundary. There was a back room in which they could have been supervised in and separated from clients. All in all I have had nothing but bad experiences with TaniaMediSPA. This was unfortunately not a small Calgary business with any care or passion behind it as I had optimistically hoped for. I have no obligation to share my legal name used in appointments when posting my experiences online. Lack of apology and continued denial goes to show how this business operates—note how she calls customers the scammer in their very valid complaints, and always claims that the problem lies with the reviewer and not her. Copy pasted 5* reviews from different people is also laughably suspicious. Do NOT waste your money or time here."

"Crystal was extremely helpful and knowledgeable at her line of work. You would become like a reborn baby after her fabulous treatments. Her wonderful recommendations on different services helped relieve the discomforts and pain away. The atmosphere and cleanliness were truly a five-star resort and a spa-like. I was very weary of getting my first massage and Karin not only put me at ease, but she made it a fantastic overall experience. They don't push anything on you, but instead listen to your needs and provide suggestions. 10/10 would highly recommend!"

"The experience here was lovely right from the moment I walked through the door! I was greeted softly and kindly, and offered a hot towel tea or water while I waited. The waiting area is comfortable, smelled good and there was nice music drifting through the building. My massage therapist was also great! She was cheerful and smiley and made sure to check with me to discuss spots to concentrate on. I got a full body therapeutic massage and I have never had a massage so thorough! Hot towels, massage oils and aromatherapy with massage techniques as well as stretching techniques. She made sure to always check to make sure the pressure wasn't too much or too little and make sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"I recently had FRAX and IPL laser treatment for my aging face.  I was skeptical, and was certainly not expecting the results that I got!  I had significant sun damage from unprotected tropical holidays and years of neglecting my skin. I’d tried various creams over months, with no change.  But the results from these laser treatments were rapid and very significant! In less than two weeks, my freckles had faded and my age spots disappeared completely. It’s taken years off my skin and can now go without make-up again, but I will wear SPF!  Jocelyn was professional and very informative. I am definitely going back for more, and wish I could do my entire body!"

"The overall great experience. The machine will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I will say that the attendant could have attended better. There were three of us, we received no explanation, they just took our money and showed us to each bed. We weren’t made aware that certain machines are capable of higher pressure than others (we would have taken turns), nor that if you only want a certain portion of your body done they can set it that way. Attendant did let me take extra time in the more powerful unit and limited it to just my low back / glutes to neck after asking questions. Biggest piece of advice; ask questions they may not explain it otherwise."

I catch her few times, when she just stopped doing massage and fell asleep! Massage was awful and overall experience too. I can’t recommend this location! They were super nice and fixed it the next day but they started coming off two days later wasn’t worth going for a third time to get repaired I did take down my review as they fixed the crooked nails but I’ve never had my nails start coming off within the same week I just went back to my normal nail place and got them redone. Idk if it’s the products they use but definitely wouldn’t recommend. They are nice but quality is not there."

I went to Luxe for IV Therapy and couldn’t be happier. I was greeted by Melissa, who is so calm and reassuring, then met Lisa who explained the entire process, she was very thorough and kind.
