"I've had two full body massages from Jen so far, and they've both been amazing! I have bad posture and constantly have back pain and stiff shoulders - both of which felt so much better after a massage with Jen. I've been to a couple of different massage studios in the Metro Vancouver area, and she is hands down the best for deep tissue massages (a lot of the others I've been to don't apply enough pressure). Her amazing technical skills aside, she is also very warm and welcoming. You won't regret your visit here."

Kara, was the woman who did my 60 minute facial, she was considerate, caring and very professional. "For a treat during the holiday season I booked a scrub & massage with Damon, a 2.5hr experience. Upon being welcomed into his home studio I was instantly put at ease. His years of service in China reflects his superior art of hospitality. The scrub was amazing. Excellent pressure, exfoliation, and the perfect essential oils for my needs at that moment. During the “baking” of the scrub I had a mini facial followed by LED light therapy. His meticulous attention to detail made me look and feel a bit younger and sexier. After the scrub I was off to the shower to prepare for my massage. The pressure was perfect with long intentional strokes. Any knots that hadn’t melted away during the scrub were now fully dissolved. Damon’s studio is clean, comfortable and a great atmosphere. Looking forward to my next treatment."

"Worst experience I have had here. I have been coming to Alfa for years and whatever massage I got yesterday was horrible. 75 minutes of getting someone’s elbow jammed into my back at rapid speed. Nothing about it was enjoyable. I even asked to lighten up the pressure to see if that would help but she didn’t change anything. Now I have bruises all over my back. On top of this the masseuse left twice during my massage to go to the front desk."

"Save your money and skip the Christmas massage and facial package at Hand and Stone. The facial was a huge letdown—basically just someone applying a few Dermalogica products and rinsing them off. If you want anything more they’ll tack on another $40. To make it worse, the facial portion expires April 30, and they won’t bother giving you a courtesy call to remind you. The location itself is outdated and in serious need of renovations. Overall, it’s overpriced, the service is poor, and the experience is not worth it. Stay far away."

Then we ended up going in the hot tub, cold plunge & dry sauna. 10/10 experience, the massage was great too! Prices were really good too, as they have promos going on during the day before 6PM. "Decent shiatsu massage, but certainly not an RMT quality. Yet, for $65 per hour it was a good deal. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The girl who massaged me didn't speak much English which was a bonus as kept quiet and didn't talk much during the massage. Very convenient location, I stopped there while had my car in service at the dealership across the street."

"I had a horrible experience with this location. The lady who did my facial was not experienced and I had infection around my eyes and still have it. She was constantly talking and had no idea what she was doing. Definitely not going back there and I won't recommend anyone to go there. Please don't hire new people and people who don't have enough experience."
