"My wife gifted me a couples massage for Valentine’s Day. I had a 75 min body massage and the gentleman who was doing the massage had very strong hands and technique, there were a few times I was about to tap out, it was definitely a deep tissue massage, but was very much needed, felt a little sore the next day from being tenderized, but did I mention it was much needed. ???? I feel like he undid years of tight muscles and tension in my back neck and shoulders, definitely an amazing experience for my first time. I would definitely go again, I’m not sure on price as it was a gift, but the pricing chart as I was checking out seemed fair/standard pricing. If you’re feeling sore and need to be loosened up I would recommend."

"I’ve been to Martindale Medispa for everything from laser hair removal, facials, lash lifts and tints, spray tan, etc. They are by far the best in game. The staff is incredibly kind and makes you feel at ease no matter the service you are getting and they are very reasonable with their pricing. The outcomes with any service could not be done better anywhere else. I highly recommend them!"

"Got an acrylic set, she didn’t wait for the glue to dry when applying the tip extensions so when she added the acrylic and it shrunk when drying it popped the tip right off my nail bed. I had an appointment after so I left without giving them much of a look over but about 20 mins later when I noticed I gave them a call and they told me to come back to fix it. After making the 20 min drive she told me that it was just how my nails were shaped since my nail beds curved down so much (they don’t). I argued that I was going on vacation and they would completely pop off the second I touched water but she insisted they’d be fine and after some back and forth, another worker spoke up and told her to fix it. She jammed some acrylic powder between the gap then put my hands under the lamp (acrylic doesn’t cure using UV so not sure why she did that ??? ) my nails were attached at the cuticle but lifted underneath and after her “fix” they came off the following day (destroying my nail beds in the process). See pics of my natural nails showing no curve, the nails I left with and my friends whose entire hand popped off within the first few days. I paid $75 (plus 20% tip so the treatment wasn’t due to a lack of tip)"

"I've gone to paramount as a client, since I worked there in the 1980's and 90's as an Esthetician. I am picky because I know what I should be able to expect in my pedicure and facial. The services at Paramount are worth the price. Especially the facials. The products are amazing. I received my latest services from Nicky and oh my goodness, she has the best touch and demeanor. I honestly felt as though I could relax in her presence and trust her service. My skin looks amazing. My feet don't have a lot of callous but the skin is delicate and they are ticklish with a right big toe that is immobile. Nicky knew how to hold my feet, knew not to cut off too much cuticle, knew not to bend my big toe that doesn't bend - all things I've had quite the problem with in other pedicure places of all types I have received services at. All of the estheticians I have gone to at paramount know their stuff and Nicky is the perfect touch and personality fit for me, my skin and my feet. I've already booked my next appointment for my face and feet - I go every three months - or on the change of seasons (I only get paraffin on my hands). In this city you pay for what you education wise. There is nothing wrong with going other places, but if you are looking for a place where you can receive actual esthetic care, come to the original place in Saskatoon who had estheticians of the highest caliber working there back in the 1980's. And yes, I had to shop the boutique, they always have the best clothes and this year I found a top on clearance and a new funky top for spring. I love paramount, their owners and the staff. If you are going to try one service, make it a facial. Your skin will thank you."
