"I had a horrible experience here with Claudia on Monday. At the beginning of my appointment Claudia made an unprofessional, highly insensitive and rude assumption about my health, causing me to leave the appointment. I was and honestly still am in absolute shock and continue to be quite emotional. If there are questions about my health why not ask me to fill out a health/check-in form or ask me if there are any changes to my health? My family has patronized your business since it opened in the plaza 10 or so years ago. We have been loyal customers. Unfortunately we will not be returning or purchasing gift cards to your location in the future."

"I can only speak for Jade, but assume all the staff are as talented as her… I have gone on two separate occasions now and have had great experiences both times. The deep sport massage provides a variety of techniques while focusing on problem areas properly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an RMT!"

"NOT RECOMMENDING AT ALL! Avoid!!! I regret to say that my experience at this spa was far from satisfactory. My sister and I booked a 90 mins hot stone massage, expecting a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. However, one of the masseuses seemed to have some gastrointestinal issues, as she was keep passing gas throughout the session which was very uncomfortable and shocking…Additionally, she inexplicably sat for a significant portion of the 90-minute massage, leaving my sister feeling shortchanged. Furthermore, the hot stone massage lacked the expertise we anticipated. The same masseuse I am talking about appeared unfamiliar with the proper techniques and missed several steps, resulting in a less than optimal experience. The ambiance of the room was also disappointing, with a noticeable odor and a lack of soothing music or pleasant scents to enhance the atmosphere. Overall, considering the amount of money we paid for this experience, we expected a higher level of cleanliness, professionalism, and skill from the staff. Unfortunately, our visit to this spa left much to be desired, and we will not be returning nor recommending it to others."

"This location has been a constant disappointment. Their poor scheduling and lack of communication are pushed onto customers, with no support from the owners to resolve issues. I have had four massage appointments canceled—each within an hour of my scheduled time—despite booking weeks in advance. Every time, they claim the therapist has called in sick and that they’re fully booked for weeks to come. There is no accountability, no compensation, and no effort to make things right. While they strictly enforce their cancellation policy on customers, they fail to uphold basic scheduling etiquette themselves. Why not call in another therapist to cover the workload? And when they do offer a rescheduled appointment, it’s just as frustrating. After my last cancellation, they offered me a slot the next day, but I needed a moment to check my schedule before confirming. By the time I called back, it was already taken. How is that fair? I had to rearrange my schedule and still didn’t get an appointment. Attempting to file a complaint is pointless—the receptionist can only pass messages to the owners, who respond at their own convenience. And when they do, their answer is always the same: no discounts, no solutions, no regard for the inconvenience caused. Massage Addict Southdale, these aren’t just paying customers—they are people in pain, seeking relief, only to be met with more stress and frustration. Avoid this location and the Fanshawe one as well—same owners, same lack of care. Save yourself the hassle."

"I had an amazing experience getting my first Japanese Head Spa and Facial! The location was impeccably clean, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Narmin was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain each step of the process, making me feel comfortable and well cared for. Her friendly demeanor and expertise truly made the session exceptional. My skin feels rejuvenated, and the head massage was incredibly soothing. I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ll definitely be returning for more treatments. Five stars all the way!"

"I have had many facials in my life and I had my first facial at Ethos last week by the very professional and sweet Victoria. I can't say enough about her and the treatment! It was by far the most relaxing, detailed, rejuvenating and best experience I have ever had. I just had surgery a few weeks back and I was not feeling my best suddenly but this didn't phase her at all. The kindness, understanding and compassion was so greatly appreciated.
