    "Why can I only give it a 5 ????? I want to give more stars!!! Samantha Rocks! I absolutely loved my facial. It was so rejuvenating & relaxing. I also learned about my skin and what I should be doing. A truly lovely experience from start to finish. I'm so glad that I chose to celebrate part of my 50th here."

    "Update: A Cave Cure manager kindly reached out to me regarding the experience described below and, after discussing the issue, agreed to a full refund as well as a discount on a salt bath in the future, which I felt was a fair resolution. The customer service was very good in the end and I was happy with the outcome. We went for the anniversary mineral bath yesterday because we had heard really good things about Cave Cure. The interior was really cool and well designed. Unfortunately, the mineral bath - the main feature of the experience - was disappointing. We asked the staff member if we would have control over the temperature setting and she explained that we wouldn't, but that the temp would be set to between 36-38 degrees. That seemed fine, but when we got in the bath it felt luke warm and we saw on the display that the temp was 28 degrees. After a little while we saw the temp reading reach 31 degrees, but it never got any warmer than that. We tried to make the most of it and enjoy the experience as much as we could, given that it was our anniversary, but we eventually decided to ask if the temp could be increased as we were simply not enjoying sitting in a luke warm bath. I got out and explained the situation to the staff member and asked if she could increase the temp. She replied that we only had 15 minutes left, implying that there would be no point. That wasn't the response I expected, but I still wanted her to try because it would be better than nothing. So she tried to adjust the temp by pressing buttons and turning a dial at the side of the bath, but she couldn't get anything to change - the controls weren't working. After we finished, the staff member did not offer to compensate for the experience and so I had to ask if we could have 25% off to make up for the low temp, which I thought was more than fair as the bath was the main feature of the experience and was not enjoyable. (I understand that it's not meant to be a hot tub, but it shouldn't be tepid either. The tea was also just room temp, but that was minor in comparison.) Then the haggling began - the staff member said she was only authorized for 15%, so I asked her to get authorization from the manager. She came back and said the most the manager could do is 20% off. I reluctantly accepted and paired that with another 25% off voucher that we had, but it was still quite expensive ($150) even with the discounts and not worth the money. The staff member did not ask for any further feedback and seemed to want to just be rid of us at that point. I also requested on the phone beforehand that the cupcakes that come with the package be replaced with a vegan option. The staff member asked if I had any suggestions and, not knowing the menu, I suggested extra strawberries. But when we arrived, I saw that there were several vegan cookie options available and so requested that the cupcakes be replaced with vegan cookies instead, not extra strawberries. Checking the bill afterward, I realized she had charged us separately for two vegan cookies as well as the extra strawberries. She did not inform us that she would be charging us separately for these items instead of including them in the original package as a replacement for the cupcakes as I thought we had agreed. Hopefully this was just a one off situation, as there are many good reviews, but the overall experience and apathy of the staff did not come close the the 5-star service that is promised."

    "The girls at Live Awake Wax & laser studio are amazing. I have been doing laser with Laurel. She put my mind at ease on our first session. I was super nervous that it was going to be painful but it so easy. She is easy to talk to you & by the time you know it, it’s over. They are so welcoming & really put your mind at ease. I would recommend them over & over again."

    "I have been going to Urban Massage for over 5 years and have had Emma as an RMT over this span. First off, Emma is an extremely well educated, effective and compassionate RMT. Her use of varying techniques and recommendations for at home stretches has made such a large impact in the quality of my life. Furthermore, the owner Nicole and all of the front end staff are always pleasant, welcoming, and attentive. By far the best massage practice I've ever used. Highly recommend them!"

    "I discovered Ongles Spa Maline online and booked through their website: super quick and easy. From the moment I walked in, Lisa greeted me with a warm smile and even offered me tea: such a thoughtful touch! The salon is incredibly clean, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. It’s also less than a 5-minute walk from Jarry metro, which is perfect if you’re coming by transit. The atmosphere is calm, professional, and welcoming—no rush, no pressure, just great service with a personal touch. Lisa is friendly, genuine, and really takes her time to make sure you’re happy with the results. I left feeling relaxed and well taken care of. I’m definitely coming back next month with my mom! If you’re looking for a clean, cozy, and professional nail spa with great vibes and amazing service... this is it. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed"

    "First 4 pictures are what I got, last picture is what I asked for. It pains me to write this review because the owner and the people working there were so sweet to me… but this needs to be said : I nearly hated my experience yesterday at PLTS. Obviously, this was my first time trying out Pretty Little Thing Spa. I was searching for a luxury nail salon and their IG pictures seemed promising. I reached out to them and I was very grateful that they had been so responsive to my Instagram DM and finding me an appointment for the next day, as I was having trouble making appointments with other salons. That itself left a great impression on me, but that was the peak of what experience was awaiting me. I don’t even know where to start. Firstly, to every car owner; good luck finding parking, because there is none. That’s not their fault, but the placement of the salon is poorly thought out : in the middle of a super busy intersection and residential street filled with one-ways and traffic. Secondly, the place itself was very chaotic. There seemed to be little to no organization (staff kept moving around, making customers switch from one desk to another to be able to serve other customers which I thought was very unprofessional, the woman taking care of me was also lost in her own material most of the time not being able to find certain tools or nail paint, etc.). Thirdly, and I don’t know if I was just unlucky and got the least talented aesthetician there, but the final result of my nails was barely anything like the picture I had shown her. I kept insisting that I wanted exactly what was on the picture (I asked for the simplest there is : an oval short french manicure!!) and she gave me all but what I asked. Shape was off (she gave me almond instead of oval), quality was off, french tip was off, nails were crooked and lifted, nothing was right. The worst part?? I noticed that she had started fixing the powder on the acrylics with my cuticles still intact and uncut. I jokingly asked her “you’re doing the cuticles right :)” and she said “no, we charge an extra 10$ If you want me to clean the cuticles” ?!? I have been to at least a dozen salons in my life and I have never ever (even in the most expensive ones) been told that the cuticles were not included in… nail care?? How does that even make sense? How can you put on acrylic without shaving down the cuticles?? And even worse… (and I don’t know if that was on purpose or not), but she did not put the dip-powder all the way down to the root of my nail, meaning that although my nails were FRESHLY DONE, they looked like they had been growing out for at least 1-2 weeks!! On top of all of this, the price was 70$! I tipped an additional 5$ only because I felt extremely bad. Now, I was made aware beforehand that that was the amount, but the final result isn’t even worth 30$ at best. Everyone in my circle was left dumbfounded and shocked by the result, and even more-so after hearing the total cost. To charge this much for a simple set of nails means to be confident that you’re delivering quality and service, which was NOT the case. This is unfortunately the last time that I go there and I definitely learned my lesson… I cannot believe these pictures are taken 24 HOURS after the appointment, it looks like it’s been WEEKS!!! Unacceptable for a salon with this pricing, and in general. Side note : The hygiene situation of the place and the tables where nails were being done was concerning."

    "Me and my wife got a couple's massage from groupon and had one of the best massages ever. The place was quiet, clean and the staff was professional and very experienced. My wife had a similar experience and was pleased with her massage. I had to hold my breath a few times, but by the end my tension was almost gone it was definitely worth the money. We will definitely be going back again and i highly recommend this spot."

    "BAD!!! I came across their sign on Hwy7 advertising a 2 hour massage for $90, so I went ahead and booked an appointment. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the spa, they refused to honor their advertised price. When I tried to talk to them about it, they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Despite my attempts to find a solution, they didn't offer any alternatives and simply asked me to leave. This was a highly disappointing experience."

    "Used to try out different massage therapy clinics, but I’ve only been going here for over 2 years now. Always a good experience and easy to make an appointment online. Elena is great! My muscle pains always feel better after a massage and she adjusts pressure based on what I want that day."

    "Massage Addict is great. I've been going to Massage Addict for a couple of years now. The staff there is very welcoming and nice. Jackie (Shufang (Jackie) C) who i've started using recently (since Jan 2025) is amazing. She is very professional and highly skilled. I had stiff shoulders, back and leg/knee pains for a very long time, which usually comes and goes. Typically after a massage the pain will go away but come back after awhile. However Jackie not only helps reduce the pain during the massage, but she looks at helping you heal long term. She knows exactly what is needed and hits all the right pressure points. I can tell the difference and feel much better. Now I go to for a massage to relax and not when i'm in pain. I thank Jackie so much. 10/10!!"

    "I have been a customer of this place for many years. Every time then and now , when I need beauty treatments, I come here. Every time I scheduled a consultation or a specific beauty treatment, I always had to wait for my appointment between 30 to 50 minutes, even though I had booked a week in advance, sometimes even much longer in advance. I don't understand and will never understand why their time is more important than their customers' time. I am really angry; this was the last straw. The moment I arrived, I announced that I couldn't wait more than 5 minutes. In the end, I waited 12 minutes, and I was still far from being seen for the appointment I had scheduled in advance. It's unacceptable that I, the customer, arrive on time and still have to sit and waste my precious time. I have already paid for certain treatments. I will finish these treatments, and I will not return to this place anymore because my time is simply too valuable. The lack of care and disrespect for the customer in this place is just exceptional. I haven't seen such audacity anywhere else"
