"This may be long but I’m gonna write the type of review I would want. I was in Winnipeg for work and had been travelling a lot, work stress, life stress, etc. I was in bad shape so I googled massage places in the city. Matrix was the first place that had availability and good google ratings. I was assigned to John and able to fill out my consultation form stuff online. Amazing. It was 40 degrees in the city and when I walked it, the AC was pumping but the table was just nicely warmed and I felt super comfortable temp wise. John confirmed some paint points then we got down to it. John felt super safe and was like gentle but professional moving my limbs around but firm where he felt I needed it and checked in on pressure early on. Other than that, we didn’t say a word which is like THE PERFECT situation for me. I hate having to talk about myself or make awkward small talk during massages and there was none of that which was so nice. John also had a really nice subtle smell (sorry if that’s creepy, it was just pleasant). They direct billed my Blue Cross and I paid what was left and that was it. Great experience all around, I feel awesome next day and would go again if I live here."

"Today I went for my first massage at the clinic and saw Danielle! The clinic was very clean, quiet and her room was so perfectly decorated with Local art prints along with soft touches of family pics. Danielle was AWESOME! Great pressure, knowledgeable and such a pleasant bedside manner. She was friendly to talk to but also very considerate on allowing me the time to relax as well! I am so happy that I was able to be seen and would highly recommend Danielle for treatment!!!! Thanks again and can’t wait to go back!"

"I had my hair done by Trish and she did a fantastic job. My hair had multiple colours in it and she did a great job fixing the colour of my hair. It went from multiple shades of red and the roots were dark brown to a nice soft brown. I recommend this salon, because of the great service and the expertise of the staff. They are also very polite and courteous, as well as make great conversation. Heather C."

"I’ve had a massage every 1-2 months for the past ~6 years as a way to help me with pain management, and over the years I’ve been to several massage therapists. With the ongoing pandemic one of my regular massage therapist I’ve seen for 2 years no longer works at the place I went to and that left me on the search for another massage therapist. And pretty sure I found her! Emma at Knead to Unwind is one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever been too! I had the cupping massage, and sure it looks like I was in a fight with an octopus now but the knowledge care and professionalism in the massage was outstanding and my back felt the benefits fairly immediately. Heads up to those with mobility issues - the clinic is on the second floor and the stairs are large. I was fairly thrown off by the stairs when I walked in the front door, as stairs in general can be an issue for my hips and knees, thankfully they weren’t acting up that day. Front desk staff was great and very informative about their massage options. Highly recommend."

"Firstly, it is so refreshing to have warm and welcoming, friendly faces at reception. I’m unsure of their names (or who I was speaking to when adjusting my booking over the phone; she was extremely kind, understanding, and helpful!) but they are just lovely. I had an hour massage with Naomi, and she was fantastic! I have had a lot of massages in my life and she gave me one of the best massages I’ve had. Excellent pressure with the perfect amount of pain and purpose (knots and general soreness she worked on) while also relaxing. Thank you so much! Will be booking again soon."
