"I met with Carleen Mackenzie Brink who provided me with a very extensive consultation prior to my procedure. My Botox was done by Dr. Visser who I found to be very detail-oriented, gentle and communicative. Throughout my visit at the clinic, the staff did a great job making me feel comfortable offering me water, coffee, snacks etc. There is a limited number of free street parking spots and ample pay parking spots at the lot next door (very inexpensive). It’s too early to talk about my treatment results however I’m optimistic that the results will speak for themselves. I recommend this clinic and will be back again in the very near future."

"Update: Went back a second time and this time around my eyebrows were not shaped. They also came out uneven. Very dissapointed in the lack of attention to detail and the time spent to thread my eyebrows. Disappointing when businesses take their customers for granted. I won't be sending my daughters back either. On the search for a new eyebrow tech :( I needed to get my eyebrows waxed which I hadn't for a while because most places have difficulty shaping my eyebrows & getting them even because they are very coarse and I also have small scars which leaves little bald spots . I found this establishment on Google & decided to take a shot. Oh boy am I ever happy that I did. My eyebrows are finally even full and it feels fantastic. The beauty technician did an amazing job! She's kind, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. In fact I was so impressed with her impeccable work I prepaid for my daughters to get done and they went in later that day! My daughters absolutely love their eyebrows. I too noticed how on fleek theirs were. I found myself a little jealous of them lol. It changed the shape of my daughter's eyes, softened them and complimented her almond eyes. Very beautiful & job well done. Atika will be the only one I trust from here on out. She suggested not to do waxing but to do threading instead. It was a painless, quick, & affordable. She offers many other services which I will probably uptake in the future. "I went to get my hair highlighted after getting reassurance from this business owner that she will be able to get my hair done as she said she knows how to work with my hair type. No strand test was done and she put bleach in my hair, heated it up and left me for 45 mins. My head got very hot and I told one of the girls that it's very hot. Once it was done, my hair broke off and I lost ALOT of hair. What's upsetting is that she still billed me after breaking alot of my hair. She also told me to purchase her hair products for $50 ontop of what I paid her for breaking/damaging my hair. I'm so upset as I lost ALOT of hair and even phoned her after and she gave me every excuse and didn't even acknowledge that I shouldn't have paid. I'm so depressed now for how much hair loss and damage I have still. She used a cap on long hair too which is a big no-no"

"My first real experience with an RMT. Ioana's calm demeanor made it easy to get comfortable, and allowed the experience to be very relaxing. The massage room atmosphere and gentle music really added to the sense of calm. I was left feeling amazing afterwards, and definitely plan to return again soon."

"The service itself was great and I thank that to hard working massage therapist. However, this place has some of the shadiest practices when it comes to membership. They never miss a credit card charge, but as soon as you do anything with your credits, the border line criminal behaviour begins. 1. If you allow your spouse to use your credit, which is money they have already taken from you, they charge you $10 for absolutely no reason. 2. Even after you have been charged over $1000, if you try to freeze your membership so you can get around using your credits, well good luck because they only allow 3 months, then automatically keep billing you. And don't even suggest to cancel your membership because then you only have 90 days to use ALL of your accrued credits post cancellation or else be ready to lose all the money they already took from you. I don't even know how this is legal. 3. Somehow if you split your credits. Let's say you use 1.5 credits for a longer massage session. The extra .5 is now in your account in cash form but locked to the Hand and Stone location you did this service at...You're supposed to be able to use your credit at any hand and stone but the moment any credit is split, good luck with that. If you can find a place that does good services just go there instead. Hand and Stone's management is greedy and does not care for its customers. The staff at the front desk quickly begins being rude to you the moment they sense a membership cancellation. They treat memberships like it's a GoodLife from 2015. Just go anywhere else."

I had some initial issue with the change room area, but after giving feedback to the staff, they were quick to make sure that my experience was right. The free flow itself was great, but I think the crown jewel in this whole operation is the elevated customer service. They were there exactly when you needed them. "This was my very first time getting a massage, and I opted for the 60-minute hot stone massage. Overall, my experience was great! The spa itself is beautiful — from the stunning relaxation area and sauna to the clean and well-maintained change rooms. The receptionist was especially kind and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel even more relaxing. As for the massage, the hot stones felt absolutely amazing and added a soothing warmth that I really enjoyed. The only downside I found was the noise during the session. The sound of the stones clacking and being shuffled around as the therapist searched for the right ones was a bit distracting. It also felt a little rushed at times as the therapist moved between massaging and managing the stones. If you're sensitive to sound or looking for a quieter experience, you might want to consider a different massage style. It's just something I hadn’t thought of beforehand — and I imagine many others don’t either when booking a hot stone massage! That said, this is definitely a spa I’ll be returning to. The atmosphere is serene, the staff are lovely, and I can’t wait to try another treatment soon."

"Not happy with over all service recieved from Ambrosia! Purchased the 1 year full body laser package for $999 with Simran. The price of the package was not worth the unprofessional services provided. My advice to customers is that you compare with other spas. Cheaper prices does not guarantee professional services, especially at this spa. Few things I was thrown off by: 1) full body laser did not include the womans chest area or Brazilian as the tech was uncomfortable. After a few complaints, she finally opened up to doing a Brazilian laser but left the chest area. This should have been disclosed at the time of purchase, and it wasn't. My Consultation should have been with the tech doing the treatments, not the owner whose main goal was to take payments and get contracts signed. 2) rebooking appointments seems like a normal behaviour for Simran. Excuses like weddings and sickness/docs appointments are commonly used. I had an incident where she rebooked me and I ran into her at rogers place the same day. 3) if you have a tattoo, you need to remind her every time. My tattoo was fine. But those who I referred to Simran had their tattoos zapped at and ruined. No responsibility for this mistake was taken. 4) very careless. Simran has told me she hates doing laser treatments, and she's bored of it...This is clear, as the burns and marks on my body from her carelessness are ridiculous. Her excuse when you raise concern for a burn is 'sorry, but it's ok, you signed a contract waiving our liability'. She's just very careless. 5) simran does not know how to handle conflict situations. She booked me for an appointment, and when i showed up for my session, she cancelled on me as she noticed i was a few days early as per her contract. I spent an hour preparing for my session, drove 45 mins to get to this spa, and took off early from work. I refused to leave without completing my session. She finally did my session after telling me that I am rude for comparing her service to other spas. She also threatened to cancel my package with no refund, and after this the rest of my other 6 treatments were done with no care or welcome. The awkwardness at the salon was not worth it. But as I signed a contract, I wasn't able to withdraw my treatment. 6) I was promised a 1 free session at the end of my package from the owner due to simran's rudeness. I have been waiting for that last session since June. I have called and messaged to rebook but no reply has been given. When I finally got a hold of simran she told me she has no time. She offered me a MALE tech to do my full body, which I found very insulting and disrespectful. I now give up and will not be getting that last free session. Overall, Please do not be fooled by the fake reviews below, I definitely was fooled. Please compare with other salons. Other spas offer a FULL BODY laser treatment every 4 weeks. A few extra hundred bucks will get you a professional who knows what they are doing and a better deal overall."

"I made several visits to see Christa at The Arts MediSpa for laser treatment on my leg veins. She is so personable and fun, yet extremely professional. The results were amazing! I must admit, I went there with some skepticism, since I'd already gone to see a dermatologist and had several sclerotherapy treatments done. The results from the dermatologist were very disappointing -- very little change in the appearance of my veins (not to mention all the bruising and swelling). It has been almost 2 years since Christa treated my legs and the veins are still gone. The spa is very relaxing and soothing. Christa is very knowledgeable and professional. Treat yourself to one or more of the treatments offered -- you won't be disappointed!! Highly recommend!"

"I must start with how nice the staff was when i first emailed about making my first visit. They explained everything to me and how to go about things. The day of the appointment i left with extra time since i'm 40 minutes out of town and didn't want to arrive late. I got there 15 minutes early from the 10am open and appointment but was let in and was led to the waiting area (desk staff was very nice) and was offered a bottle of water which i declined because i already had to go use the rest room. The main rest room was very big and clean. The whole building was! At time of appointment i was led into a huge room with just the right amount of lighting and was told where everything was and my attendant would be in shortly after my shower. Riley arrived and what can i say a complete knockout beauty with a personality to match! Smiles and giggles and very friendly! The massage was amazing and very well needed. I want to thank the owner for giving me first class treatment from the start. She has amazing staff in all areas and giving a place for people who really need the service. I will be coming back."
