"I just had my first visit and first visit at Refinery House with Loralei Thompson, Thursday, April 17th. I have been waiting for years to find a salon and stylist(s) that can finally return my hair from brown to blonde! It was so easy and quick to book an appointment via text. The response was quick and so courteous and accommodating. When I arrived at the shop, it was So Clean, with Natural Lighting from all of the windows and an entire open area! The music was so relaxing, while a huge comfy couch with loungers were to my left and tables and chairs to my right - to have a tea/coffee or shop. I was immediately helped and consulted by two wonderful stylists (who I saw on fb, do training with all the other stylists monthly). I was offered tea, coffee or water in a ceramic mug (instead of paper cup) and was attended to the entire time. One exceptional note is that the wash sinks have a special padding,that for the first time ever, made my shampoo comfortable! They also provided a comfortable padded armchair while with leave-in treatments. I also enjoyed shopping in the store for unique, never seen before and quality items like 3" washable makeup removers, hair clips and marble candle holders! My hair was beautiful and I felt as though I had just been in a spa. Thank you, Refinery House. For finally offering what a lady needs. Gratefully, Allison Davison"

Now we WILL NOT! because there is a 95$ EXTRA FEE! just to go to the spa, ( called a pool fee) if you don't stay at the hotell!!! $565 for 2 massages,a "pool pass" and then tip?! Nah. We will look at other options now. The pools aren't even maintained properly. ????"

It’s clear that both time and care is put into the experiences they offer this clients. In terms of the personal touch: I had an appointment for a manicure today and brought my 3 month old. He became incredibly fussy part way through the service and the owner took him and walked him around the shop for the duration of my appointment to keep him calm and happy. "Newly renovated. The experience of massage and facial were great. They do not use steam on facials but do extractions. They have complimentary juices and snacks. Each change room has a sauna and steam room, but no pool access. The biggest downside is every few minutes you hear and feel the subway as this spa is in the basement."

""The Encounter" Trying shake of someone who was following me, it cause me to have back relief. When I think of it, the guy was standing right by the place... Long story short, I made a call and hobbled my way upstairs to the unknown (don't judge a book by its cover). Next, I was greeted with the biggest smile I have seen in a while... After, he took my bags into the room, and began to take my shoes off... I felt so special. Additionally, I got undress down to my draws, awaiting the massage therapist to bust the door. He came in with a big smile just like the frist person I encountered. I opted for a full body massage, which I really needed. Omg, I didn't know it was my tail bone that was giving me so much trouble. Boom, my massage therapist did some work on it (oils, whatever esle he used my body enjoyed it), and the following day I felt great back there. Lastly, the place is clean right down to the washroom, and so welcoming. There is an option for a credit card or cash. No maybe or buts, I will be back. Much love from Oshawa."

After an appointment at another studio got cancelled, I did another quick search and I came across Heavenly. I made the appointment, when I got there I was greeted by a young beautiful asain lady who goes by the name, Kira. Kira led me to a room, recommended that I shower which I did then we proceeded with the massage. Kira was amazing! She knows how to give a real massage. I had 45 minutes of massage and after it was over, I felt revived. I just had my second visit and I was fortunate to see the beautiful and charming Kira again. She said she is heading to Vancouver soon so hoping to see her again b4 she leaves. Not sure if all the staff are the same but for now, I recommend this place because of Kira."

"I used to go here all the time when Lilly worked there and loved my nails each time, she was quick and my nails lasted over 2 weeks. Since going here with new management/owners everything’s gone downhill. I’ve noticed my nails barely last 2 weeks without a broken nail or have them lifting. I had an appointment at 4:10 pm that I made earlier in the week and was told I had to wait a couple of minutes, no problem as it seemed there was only one person working. After giving them the benefit of the doubt of only one person working, I ended up waiting over 20 minutes of sitting there past my scheduled appointment time before I walked out and decided to go get my nails done at another salon in Airdrie. I used to recommend this place, so it’s upsetting to see how downhill they’ve gone."
