"Amazing Experience! I took my mom for her birthday yesterday to get the RMT, hot stone massage, facial and mani/pedi. We went to a different spa last year and it was terrible but this was a great experience from beginning to end. The staff were super friendly and gentle with my mom- she turned 63 and had an injured arm. My mom said she felt so much better afterwards and the staff gave her some tips and recommendations of stretches to help her once she went home. Hot stone massage was our favourite! Soothing after the RMTs and completely relaxing. Special thanks to Jinny, Grace and Sara! (I’m so sorry there is one more person and I forgot their name but thank you so much! ???? My mom and I will definitely come again! ❤️"

"I have visited many times with different different girls but today I visited with suhana but she is very rude and she charged me extra but didn’t give good service this is my worsted visit here. I will highly recommend that please don’t go with suhana never. But the another girl name Anushka she is very good I go with her last time she is very polite."

"I went to see Mel yesterday for the first time back since reopening. I was incredibly impressed with the protocols taken to keep me safe . They are doing top notch cleaning and I felt very comfortable being there for my treatment . My facial , as usual , was top of the line. Mel uses only the best products and gives amazing recommendations to help my skin. I think my favorite part has always been the extractions, and my face was cleaned up and I was very happy with the results. On top of this my facial came with a complementary eye brow wax, which indefinitely needed after 5 month's of trying to do them myself . I would definitely recommend the services at this spa !"

"I won't lie it has taken me a long time to write this review because I don't usually like posting about poor experiences, I dont like making people feel bad, but I think it is important to mention how this experience made me feel. I came here for my first haircut after restrictions were lifted and things had settled. It was also the first time I had my hair really long since being a child so this gave me a lot of confidence and I was very much looking forward to this haircut. I asked for some layers and some edgy/textured bangs. I showed pictures etc. The hair dresser flat out said she wouldn't do it because "I would hate her." This gave me instant anxiety and didn't know how to respond. I asked again for bangs and was told she would give me "curtain" bangs. I kid you not she took 2 pencil side chunks of hair and cut them to just above chin height and that was my "bangs" no layering or dimension to blend them in. I felt like I was taking to much of her time and there was already a lady waiting for her to finish with me. I literally cried almost my whole drive home and lost all confidence in my hair. I know this is partially my fault for not speaking up, but I also feel like her response of "you'll hate me" just put me in a very awkward situation. Needless to say I haven't been for a haircut since. They are nice people and they place is very clean but if ever go back I will not be going to the same lady."

"Highly recommend this new treasure in Uptown Waterloo! This lovely old home has been renovated from top to bottom and is a pleasure to behold. You will notice the calming energy as soon as you enter and they have lots of thoughtful little touches throughout that will make your visit feel extra special. From the slippers at the front entrance, Turkish towels for use in the infrared sauna, to the delightful squares of locally sourced dark chocolate at reception. "It was my first time coming and sadly will not be returning. I came in for a hot stone pedi and was expecting above and beyond service but I was left disappointed. 1) the seating in the pedi room is very uncomfortable my back and especially lower back were incredibly sore 2) the lady preforming my service was nice but stabbed me one my left toe and cut me on my right toe 3) I asked for a french pedi and shellac and was VERY disappointed this is probably my biggest complaint I paid a pretty large sum to not get a proper french done. The lines were all different sizes ALL OF THEM - not one matched the opposite toe or even on the same foot. It looked like someone who had no experience did the job! Not to mention my toe was bumped and I told her that some of the clear polish had been ruined and she just painted another coat over top - it ended up leaving a big divot which was noticeable. The shellac I got maybe lasted 2 weeks and started chipping at the top - she also did not file my toe nails properly leaving one side of my nails longer than the other side. 4) the massage - what massage? I paid extra for the hot stone massage but didn’t see the added benefit I get pedicures pretty regularly and have been doing them since I was 8 years old so yea I’m picky and know what a good pedicure is. But I have had higher quality work done in a walk in salon than here which is very sad because I’m looking to avoid walk in establishments but if I’m coming and dropping $120 plus tip on a service I can get cheaper and better somewhere else. My search continues for a good pedicurist"
