"She mangled my neck and shoulders. Idk if she was trying to crack something but I told her I had a deteriorating disk in m neck and to be careful. She proceeded to pull my arms above m head and use her foot for leverage on the bed and pull upward. My neck seized to one side when I got up to pay… she had to dig her elbow into it to release it. I have chronic issues with my shoulders now that I am seeing an actual rmt for. I would not recommend."

"Paid for a 90 min Thai oil massage and received a 70 min deep tissue massage and a 15 min head massage. My massage ended 5 mins early. The therapist texted me two hours before the appointment asking if i could come 15 mins early. Unprofessional. The therapist also asked if I just had a kid. I am a childless woman with a bigger body. I did not feel comfortable or that this was worth the $198 paid. I would not recommend at all."

"Have been using Active healing for all my massage needs since they were in their old location next to Café Amore, probably a good 10 years. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency with my DOG the day of my last appointment and called in to cancel my appointment that day. Employee on the phone was nice and sympathetic and said its OK, no worries. A few days go by and I get an email from my insurance company that my claim for my massage has been approved and paid to Active healing. This is outright 'insurance fraud' or basically theft. Now I am spending hours dealing with my insurance company to get this reversed ( which is another pain point as they seem to put the onus on me to prove I didn't get a massage that day). Anyways, poor decision making by Active healing, as they have lost myself and my wife as clients. Even if I get the claim reversed, the fact they ran it through and put me in a position to spend hours the past 2 days to deal with it, is enough for me to pick and choose one of the dozens of competitors near my home in the future."
