    "Review for The Ten Spot I recently had a wonderful manicure experience at The Ten Spot, and I can’t recommend it enough! The space is absolutely beautiful, with a clean and modern aesthetic complemented by soft, relaxing music. I also appreciated how spacious and thoughtfully laid out everything was. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I was greeted warmly at the entrance and directed to the nail station, where my nail artist introduced herself by name. She had everything sterilized and prepped, which made me feel confident and cared for. During the appointment, I was able to unwind and truly enjoy the connection with my nail artist. She made me feel heard, safe, and genuinely happy to be there. The atmosphere was so inviting, and I even got to enjoy a refreshment available on-site for an additional cost. The entire experience made me feel like a "ten," and I will definitely be recommending this spot to others! While the location in Downtown Guelph isn’t ideal for parking, it’s absolutely worth the trip if you can make it. Thank you, The Ten Spot, for such an enjoyable and refreshing experience—and for my "Strawberry Milk" nails! Cheers! ????"

    "I just had the most fantastic experience with Blanca. She was quick, kind, and made me feel so at ease. The wax was painless and chatting with Blanca made it go by so quickly. The person at the front desk was absolutely lovely, too, and made everything super easy in terms of booking and payment. Love this place and will absolutely be going back!"

    "I’ve been a long term customer. Usually, I pick the product up myself, but last time I called and asked to put on hold two hairsprays, so that my husband would pick them up for me. I gave the name of the product and the number (Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play no.7). Not expecting any problems, I didn’t check the bottles and just simply put the bag in the cabinet. Today my old hairspray was finished, so I took the new one out. And only today did I notice that the salon gave my husband the wrong hairspray (no.8). I called the salon and explained the situation and asked to exchange it for the right product. The manager admitted the mistake, telling me that it « wasn’t done maliciously », that the bottles look almost identical, so the employee confused them and put a hold on the wrong product. However, the manager refused to make the exchange, saying that it’s been past the two weeks of their exchange policy. I told her that it was their mistake after all and that I relied on their expertise and knowledge of their product. Mistakes do happen, but the right thing would be to correct them. I asked to speak to senior management (owner/district manager as she was named), but the salon manager refused to give me either her phone number or to give my phone number to her. I asked if I could come and talk to her at the salon; she refused to tell me when the owner comes there. I asked for the corporate phone number; she refused to give it as well telling me to search it online myself. Now I have $42 worth of hairspray I cannot use because of the salon’s mistake. Rude, unprofessional, unwilling to resolve the situation caused by their employee. Will never be back, and I’ll tell everyone I know not use their services."

    "My husband was in Guelph for a golf tournament with the university so I thought to do my nails, this place had great reviews online. I’ll just post pictures of my nails 10 minutes after being done. It was just a regular manicure with regular nail polish. Price posted is $20, she asks how I’ll be paying and I said cash and she says $21, so I ask how it’s $21, she says tax. So I said $1 tax? If you’re charging tax I’ll pay credit card, she said well it’s 7% tax if you pay cash and 13% if you pay credit card. Pretty sure this is where the CRA should start auditing. Personally would not ever go back, nor would I recommend this place to anyone else."
