The staff were knowledgeable, explaining the process and providing us with towels and a robe to use during the experience. The hot sauna was soothing and relaxing, with plenty of space, while the cold plunge was invigorating and will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. The facilities were spotless, with a serene and luxurious atmosphere that added to the overall experience. After my session, I felt a noticeable reduction in muscle tension and a boost in mental clarity. Whether you're looking to relieve stress, enhance recovery, or just try something new, this is the spa to check out. I will definitely be returning soon."

"I wouldn’t recommend the Shipyards location during the day if you're looking for a relaxing experience. The max capacity is up to 20 people due to overlapping sessions, and the bathrooms and changing rooms are just too small to comfortably accommodate that many guests. While the sauna is spacious, it’s not enjoyable with more than 10 people inside, especially since some guests don’t seem to know how to keep their voices down. Also, I’m curious if they empty the water baths during the group switchovers? I’ve been to Secret Location, and I’d definitely recommend it over this spot for a more peaceful experience."

"Wonderful facial with Marina where I left feeling SO relaxed and my skin felt great, but I was very disappointed in the client experience. I found out firsthand that the Skoah LoLo location is a franchise, unlike the other Skoahs, and they do not honour member perks such as a free upgrade on every fourth facial. This was not written/ communicated anywhere (I purchased my membership from Yaletown but it is valid at any Skoah location… or so I thought!) so imagine my surprise when I booked a complimentary upgrade and was downgraded to a regular Power Facial during my appointment! I was told that I should book with Yaletown directly to receive my member perks. I understand the cost of doing business but it would have been nice to know beforehand that my complimentary upgrade would not be honoured, so I could have had the option of booking at a different location. This put a damper on my overall experience, but there could be something that needs to be ironed out between franchisees and corporate. Bummer."

"I love seeing Stephanie, I’ve been seeing her for 10+ years and she’s been with me through many stages of life (teen acne, puberty, etc). I always leave appointments feeling relaxed and fresh. We have conversations about skin products but also fun conversations about life. Extremely kind and warm towards her clients. She’s amazing!"

Salisa paid special attention to my skin and focused on providing me with the utmost care. I also had a deep tissue massage at the spa with Georgi, he was very professional, ensured he assessed my pressure points and worked to relieve my pain. "I’m 25 weeks pregnant and had a great experience! I came to my appointment with awful neck and back pain and it was gone when I left. Rosa thought of everything! She was so considerate of smells in the room that might bother me, what position would be best for me, and how much pressure to use. I loved that she had a pregnancy pillow so I could lie in my stomach and when I eventually wanted to change positions her table allowed me to lie on my back with the head of the bed elevated so it was more comfortable. I highly recommend Rosa if you’re pregnant looking for an RMT :)"

"I spent all night reading reviews on all the different hair salons in Niagara falls. I went through FB & IG before finally finding this gem. The hair dresser and only one I fully trust with my hair is in Toronto, but ever since I moved here, travelling back and forth is just not feasible. This place definitely lived up to it's rave reviews. It's very easy to find with a warm atmosphere. Everyone is pleasant and professional. I was able to get an appointment with Isabella who was very friendly and did my hair exactly the way I wanted/described. I have very fine, straight Asian hair which isn't the easiest to work with or style. Isabella did an excellent job! I will definitely come back. Maybe I'll go even shorter next time. ????"
