The staff are professional and very accommodating first time I went unfortunately I had to bring my 14 month old daughter and they helped keep my child entertained and were very supportive and friendly. They are fairly quick and skilled I only recently only had one nail pop off after extreme over growth (I get long nails). The place is extremely clean and sanitary. "I went for foot massage and shoulder massage. Foot massage was normal but for shoulder massage it wasn’t that expected and didn’t even feel anything. For payment, they directly ask for it. They should have ask for tip by pos machine. When I told the tip amount he acted like didn’t understand and asked again. This is actually so rude. My friend didn’t want to give tip and they literally forced her to give it. You guys really need to improve customer care. And it smells like smoke during the massage, someone might be smoking in the centre."

You get nice soft robes and can use the hot tub, pool and steam room before/after your treatment. The massage therapists were great and gave a nice hard massage. They have fancy beds that adjust, and all of the extras like choosing your own scent for the lotion, hot towels on your feet and eye masks. They even gave us a little treat on our way out. I set up the appointment for yesterday (Saturday) and came in for my relaxation massage, pedicure, light lunch from Jugo juice, manicure, haircut and style. I had an additional coupon for $25 off services so I wanted to use that for basic highlights. To start I had the massage- was so relaxing and wonderful, I felt all my muscles release!! Thanks for the massage Sharesh! Next Sharesh did my pedicure, manicure and provided my light lunch from Jugo Juice- great wrap and smoothie. I was then rushed out to my color with Jessica. She listened to my needs.. then I met the owner Ali. Very exorbitant and likes the sound of his own voice. The owner took over the conversation and kept distracting the stylist. The stylist was rushed then due to not enough washing stations. She cut and styled my hair to my liking with Ali throwing free samples at me. At the time of payment I had my gift certificate and voucher out for payment with everyone standing around me.. and then I was shown the total left to pay- was almost the cost of my gift certificate! I felt bad leaving a small tip as I had a budget to follow. The lady before me had to pay her bill on credit card and then Ali was giving her free stuff to bribe her to come back. If not for the owner being rude to his staff by interfering in the services and bribing the customers for good reviews I would’ve given them a five star rating. I will not return."

So at first I was skeptical to change but do due to the fact that I found out Jessica does this all herself and had built this company on her own and has made her own client list is absolutely legendary to me. "This rating is strictly for the massage portion of this business. I had 3 massage visits in this place. The first one went ok as expected; however, it just kept going downhill from there. My second visit: a lady rmt got me from the waiting area a little passed out appointment and left me in the room for another 9 minutes before returning to work on me. She stopped and left the room 4 minutes before my time was up. The front desk reception was very kind in discounting me $10. I wasn't expecting any discount but it was very nice of her. My third and possibly last session wasn't any better. Another lady rmt got me from the waiting room 5 minutes late pass my appointment time, and took me to the room that was ice cold. It felt like I walked into a freezer. Again, she didn't return to the room for another 5-6 minutes. It was very uncomfortable laying down on a sheet of ice of a cover. When I asked her to maybe turn down the AC or maybe turn up the heat of the room, she cranked the volume of music to 10. Now, not only was I'm freezing, I can't even hear myself think. And once again, she's done 4 minutes before my time is up. Not until after my session did I discover that she turned up the volume control knob rather than the temperature control. I understand that there's some cushion time for RMT to get patient and begin working on them; however, when I'm shelling out $180 for my session, I didn't expect to loose 10- 15 minutes each and every session. That's like paying for 60 minutes and getting only merely 45 minutes out of it. A very poor business practice to me."

My nails last on average five weeks and I think in the past year I have only had two lift and I can attest that this is my error, I mean I seriously go five weeks and I am hard on my nails. "I’ve been going to Hamilton Healing Salt Cave for a few years, and it is truly a divine experience! I’ve recommended this facility to many people and brought friends and family along for treatments, and everyone has loved it. It’s also fun to do in groups or as a couple! Personally, the treatments at the facility help me a lot in managing my chronic illnesses. They reduce stress, alleviate pain, increase relaxation, and leave my skin glowing and soft, with my sinuses clear! I breathe and sleep better after each session. There are so many wonderful treatments to choose from, and the staff are kind, friendly, and always supportive in helping you book what’s right for you. Some of my favourite treatments are the salt bath soaks, infrared sauna, and salt cave. I also recently had a facial and a 3-in-1 massage by Kereny, which was absolutely amazing. Those are now definitely added to my list of favourites! Kereny is very knowledgeable, kind, and talented, and I can’t wait to see her again for treatment! The Salt Cave itself is like none other I’ve seen. I love its healing benefits, but beyond that, the cave’s interior is amazing! The decorations and fountains are done so well that it truly feels like you’re in a real cave (minus any creepy vibes). I feel completely immersed in the healing process. The salt bath soak is incredibly relaxing, and the massage jets are perfect for relieving the chronic pain I experience. Every treatment room is cozy, set to the perfect temperature, and has a calm and healing atmosphere. The cave is naturally chilly, but they provide cozy blankets, and I’ve never felt too cold or uncomfortable while inside. The staff are fantastic—always helpful, accommodating, and willing to work with my specific needs, which I deeply appreciate. They’ve also been great at helping me make more complex bookings when needed. I enjoy the lounge at the back after treatments and love that they frequently offer special packages to choose from. The shop also has the most beautiful salt products and salt lamps! Healing Salt Cave Hamilton has always been an amazing and relaxing experience for me, and I can’t recommend it enough!"

"I’m so sorry to say I won’t be returning and will probably never try another foot massage anywhere again. The people are very friendly, but the massage was extremely aggressive. I asked for less pressure and should have stopped her altogether, so that’s on me that I didn’t advocate for myself better. Seriously - much of what I’m about to say could have been avoided has I spoken up more. But there was SO much pressure applied to spider veins that hours later I’m in pain with tingling sensations. I’m hoping that won’t last or cause more problems. I also had a bone bruise I asked her to avoid, but the masseuse kept attempting to massage the area. I just don’t know that there’s much finesse or knowledge about how to properly do reflexology. So while I’m ultimately to blame for not asking her to stop, I’m not sure they know what they’re really doing. The experience was painful enough that I felt warning others may be needed. Lovely people, but I must advise against visiting them. Update: It’s been a few weeks now, and the area (while not as painful as when I wrote the review) is still tender. The spider veins have darkened. I’m disheartened that one Google search taught me something the person massaging my leg should have known. Never apply intense pressure to spider veins. I highly recommend finding another option, and learn from me! If you’re not 100% sure what they’re doing is the right thing, don’t assume they know 100% either."
