"My First time at Sabai Thai Spa in New Westminster and I had a HUGE good experience . Absolutely loved every single minute as I stepped in to the Spa. Super welcoming, very great location ( next to the sky train) , pleasant atmosphere, fresh air , friendly front desc staff, kind and respectful. The place has a nice , larger waiting area with large windows that gives you a nice view. Soft Thai music playing in the background in the waiting area as well in the rooms. I used they special offer which was for me the best massage I ever got, very detailed oriented RMT , they asked me if I have any specific area where I would prefer to work more specific, they really followed my instructions and worked on those areas. After my treatment was finished they told me to take as much time I need , gave me a hot towel too to get ready and dress up. "Awful experience here, I would not recommend this place to anyone. From the moment you walk in it reeks like cigarette smoke, my clothes smelt bad after leaving. About two weeks ago I booked for myself and two others to come in to get gel manicures and a gel pedicure. My friend who came with me and also got a gel manicure had her cuticles cut and bleeding so badly that she is still dealing with the affects of that manicure. The owner took over my manicure once I had been in the chair for about three hours and placed 5 coats of top coat on one hand and none on the other (I had to ask him to stop applying top coats at this point). He did apologize for the three hour long manicure, however it did not sit right with me that he called me the next morning to complain about his staff and use vulgar language to describe them. The excessive use of profanity was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I would also like to add that we had booked the day before but cancelled and rescheduled for the next day, which he immediately asked us about upon arrival. Extremely unprofessional and not a clean environment."

"Hamman Spa exceeded all my expectations and made the beginning the morning of my birthday that much special! My fiancé booked a 90min Céla Luxury Spa Ritual, and from the moment I walked in the experience was flawless. Tatiana took such good care of me, it was my first time at a Hammam and she provided me with a cold face cloth and a towel so I would be comfortable in the beautiful steam room. I was truly pampered with a hair treatment, scrub, and a great massage. She checked in with me just the right amount. The entire atmosphere is so quiet and relaxing, and I enjoyed the baklava treat in their lounge. Thank you as well to the pretty front desk lady who gave me a little gift bag on this special day. I will surely be back :)"

"Body Blitz offers a relaxing circuit consisting of a sea salt pool, steam room, sauna, Epsom salt soak, and cold plunge. Last time I went the other guests were so encouraging, sharing tips and tricks to make the cold.plunge more manageable. It's a great spot if you need a break from the grind but can't get out of the city. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. Staff are friendly and they provide towels, robes, flip flops, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, and blow dryers so it's easy to get ready for the rest of the day. They offer a full menu of spa services but I've never tried them, preferring to do the water circuit."

Maria made me feel very comfortable and took the time to explain each step of the treatments I had done. Would 100% recommend for any body, face or nail treatments. Worth every penny! I had a body scrub and wrap, hydro facial and hot stone pedicure done , recommend all the treatments especially the facial!"

"I've been here twice and the foot massage was good. But the last time, I had a back massage, and it was unbelievably rough and "pinchy". I was surprised how awful it felt, and my neck was very sore afterward. The woman was super rough and cracked my neck hard without warning, which is chiropractor work, not work for an untrained person giving massages. This is dangerous, and it felt like I got injured. The staff is very nice but I won't go back, unfortunately."

"I really enjoyed the Guerlain facial. It is longer and different from other facials I have had. The relaxation area has a beautiful view of the lake. I like how they enforce the relaxation area as a silent relaxing place. You have access to a steam room. A downside is that purchasing spa services access to the pool is not included or at least discounted (unlike the Shangri-la or Four Seasons)."

I had asked her about her lash lift because it looked so nice and natural and she said she got it done at the salon, so that is definitely something I want to try next.
