"A fun place for men. An attractive Taiwanese-born woman might give you a pleasant body massage. There was a shower in a small room and a large sauna years ago. Use of the sauna was not free. The Chinese-Canadian owner formerly was Wendy Li. Wendy used to be a masseuse on Vancouver's Cambie street before opening her own spa in Vancouver. Many things have changed in 2020 with the new ownership."

"I recently had a full body massage that was unfortunately quite disappointing. I was initially told that the massage would be 30 minutes long with the option to extend to an hour if desired. However, during the session, my masseuse Maggie informed me that she could only extend it by 15 minutes, not an hour as previously stated. To add to the disappointment, my feet were completely ignored during the massage. When I inquired about it, Maggie mentioned that she doesn't work on feet and suggested I see a reflexologist instead. In all my previous experiences with full body massages, my feet have always been included in the treatment. Furthermore, Maggie did not turn me face up to address my chest area or the front of my thighs, which left me feeling like the massage was incomplete. The only satisfactory part of the massage was that she spent quite a lot of time on my back and kept checking in on me and how I liked the pressure."

She would absolutely bend over backwards to make sure her clients are well looked after. As soon as you arrive, if you've had a bad day, she is there with a warm hug and her infectious smile is definitely enough to bring you out of the worst of moods. In all the years I have been a client, there have been a couple of occasions where my appointment was cancelled due to illness or a family emergency. I was disappointed, but I KNEW Adele would make sure I was taken care of ASAP. She would come in on her day off because she is so busy during regular hours due to so many satisfied clients. Lastly, Adele is a kind and generous person who will go to homes and provide care to palliative patients, giving them an opportunity to be pampered. La Mirage is definitely a business that I would recommend to anyone!"
