"I had high hopes going to this spa rather than a “nail bar” it started off with the woman slicing my finger open with a file. It’s a pretty deep cut that bled. She said “oh well this file is for pedicures” (umm ok so why are you using it on my hands?!?) my finger hurt a lot from the slice, it’s deep like a knife cut. Then she painted about 4 nails before she realized she didn’t have enough polish of the colour I asked for to do my manicure lol so why not decide that before you start?! So I picked the most basic thing so I could just get out of there. The “hand massage” was about 30 seconds per hand. She constantly was wiping her nose on her arm then also blew her nose with a tissue and gloves on but did not change her gloves or sanitize her hands. The nail clippers on the towel also had Simone else’s skin in them, gross. I wanted to say something and I should have but I hate making a big deal so I didn’t. I came for a calming spa service and was in pure anxiety the entire time from the get go. The 1 star rating is for the spa manager who gave me my service for free which I did not ask for so that was kind. Awful experience. I suuuuuure hope I don’t get an infection from the cut and unclean tools. Better off at the nail and a few doors down ladies!!"
"I have been a client of Studio Vis A Vis for 12 years and it is excellent. The staff have the rare combination of being professional, knowledgable, welcoming, warm and kind. I feel confident and comfortable in their hands. The skin care products are of the highest quality and the staff may make a recommendation, but there is never a hard sell. The studio is always fastidiously clean."
"Very attentive to what was in pain, extremely kind, and very easy to book. The staff and masseuse were super pleasant and the massage felt wonderful. My entire body felt loose and tingly for the rest of the day. 100% would recommend!"
"Worst massage ever. I was unable to relax whole time. Sonia was my therapist, did oil massage and was in hurry. Pressures were uneven, massaged with gloves on. I told her my pain points at starting but was totally disregarded whole session. Walked out with pre massage pain plus added back pain. I asked her for back pain and massage if possible at end of session to which she replied, “OK I can only give 2 minutes. I have another client right after you”. I find this very rude. Wont go there again. Recetionist also sensed i was not happy with my session."
"I have been coming here for a couple years now. The therapists have changed. But the service and professionalism remains top notch. I love how close it is to my home. Just a few minutes drive or a walk if I feel energetic. Kianna does a fantastic job of hitting all the right spots and I feel so relaxed after each massage. Great local business! I will continue to visit and can’t wait to book my next massage!"
"Booked a session about a month ago with Ginger. First off, my time with her was lovely and she is a very likeable and sweet girl, but even though I made an appointment, my session was delayed by an hour. When I asked if there was supposed to be oil, as this was my first time doing something like this, she assured me yes, there is supposed to be some, but she forgot it, and finally with her alarm going off the session met an abrupt end. I really wanted to love my first time going here(or any place like it) but with all the things that went wrong with my visit, I cannot justify coming back. It is an expensive place but it should at least be worth the price. Again, this is just my experience and I'm sure it is a fluke incident based on the other reviews. Please take it with a grain of salt."
"I have been seeing Jackie for a few months now and have had nothing but great experiences! She listens to where my problem areas are and focuses on those areas. At the end of each of our sessions she gives me some exercises to do at home to help treat these problems as well. She’s so fantastic!!"
