"I would love to give this place five stars because the massages—especially with Victor or Peter—are excellent. However, every time I visit (and I go often), there’s always some kind of disruption. It’s hard to truly relax with loud phone conversations, ongoing discussions between the owners, and even a large dog barking or suddenly jumping onto a seat nearby. If you can tune all that out and focus solely on the massage, it’s still a good option in the neighborhood. But if you’re looking for a peaceful, spa-like experience, this might not be the best choice. I really wanted to like this place, especially since it’s just a 10-minute walk from me and I usually get massages every two weeks. But lately, I’ve found myself going all the way downtown instead for a more relaxing experience. I’d be happy to update my review if they improve the atmosphere!"

"This was such a great experience! My first time, it was awesome how Demi at the W 4th location explained the process step by step, I could make decisions based on good information and she gave really good advice. The actual treatment was gentle and relaxing. The beds are very comfortable and the music was nice, I almost fell asleep. I am so happy with the result and will definitely be going back :)"

"I came in for my first facial at Skoah super excited. My partner had bought me a gift card for our anniversary. I picked the power plus facial. The place is so clean and welcoming. The room setup is also really warm, comforting and relaxing. My favourite part of the facial was the extractions as I’ve never had someone really cleanse my pores and it was amazing. I came out with clean, glowing skin. The only thing I’m upset about is the power plus was supposed to include an LED light treatment or the ultrasonic wave treatment and I didn’t receive any? I’m unsure if the techs know what facial you book but maybe I was supposed to mention it? I’ll mention it next time as I’ll probably still return."

"I had a massage session with Martin Dufficy and really appreciated his personalized approach. Before starting, he asked where I was feeling discomfort and which areas I wanted to relax. Based on my preferences, he tailored the massage specifically for me. Each time, he checks in on how I’m feeling. After the massage, Martin gave me several helpful tips on how to deal with the pain I had been experiencing, and he also suggested exercises to help improve the situation. He’s definitely an experienced massage therapist who knows his craft. I’ll definitely be seeing Martin on a regular basis."

"I had the most amazing Japanese Head Spa service with Shelley today! Oh man, it was so lovely and relaxing. My hair and scalp feel incredible. The chair was super comfy and I’m pretty sure I fell asleep a few times. I’ve been seeing Natasha for years for my hair and she never disappoints. After my head spa, Natasha gave me one of her beautiful cuts and blow outs and now I will look fabulous picking my kids up from school today! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because a week before my booking I was called and someone left a message asking me to send a deposit for my services. I thought that was very strange for spa services. I can understand having a credit card on file for charges but to etransfer a deposit just felt odd. When I looked on the website, there was no information about this policy or what happens to your deposit if you were to reschedule or cancel in the appropriate booking window. I think there should be a clear explanation of this policy if it’s something new and would also think it makes more sense to put a card on file instead of having clients make e-transfers."

"Been coming here for years as they have great Chinese massage techniques, however in my last few visits I noticed the workers kept changing with little to no massage experience. They literally elbow your back spine and smother you in oil by rubbing back and fourth and call it a full body massage for an hour. No thank you. $100 down the drain. Go elsewhere."

Reception is beyond friendly. (Followed my physiotherapist out here years ago and couldn't be happier!) Clean, modern, well-appointed facilities. They offer many other services besides physio too, such as therapeutic massage, osteopathy, and reflexology. Their online booking is SO convenient, and they've recently upgraded to a new system -- with improved functionality and features, such as paperless (email) receipts. Some parking across the front of the clinic -- more spaces available in the adjacent parking lot. Yoga classes frequently on offer. Annually award-winning clinic and practitioners!"
