"I cannot stress how impressive the experience is with Regent Massage. She brings together her expertise and knowledge of anatomy and brings in a practiced and researched, but very authentic holistic approach. She is so intuitive as she moves around your body and muscles. It is different than other RMT massages I have had before. I feel she does an excellent job describing her techniques on her website. If you are unsure, I would urge you to do at least two treatments and be open-minded to see the immediate results and long-term benefits. Lara is such a kind spirit, and right away you get a sense of how authentic she is and how passionate she is about massage, movement, body and connection. Her treatments/massage include functional stretching and movement that I have never experienced with a registered massage therapist before. Her techniques are a blend of her education and her natural gift of intuition with the human body. After my first massage, I experienced immediate relief that lasted days. I felt lighter, almost as if my body was buzzing/humming/floating and I was more connected to myself. It was like she opened an energy gateway/nerve channels from my spine/central nervous system. She gave me some homework (a few simple stretches) that allowed me to continue building on the progress she made during the first treatment. I had more sensation and mobility in my thoracic and lumbar spine - something that is usually a “dead zone” for me. For years I have had no sensation/some numbness in my mid-low back. Anytime a massage therapist would work on that area (no matter how gentle they were), my muscles would become irritated/inflamed and I would be bed ridden for a few days with back spasms. But this has never happened with Lara. She truly is very talented and believes in her work. The atmosphere is also unique and warm/inviting. The room feels like a Nordic/Scandinavian spa with features like the high A frame ceiling and a private window to enjoy the view of trees, birds and the sky/clouds. It really adds to the experience."
