"Polite and sweet women there to greet us and give us a couples massage. Not great english, but who wants to talk while getting massaged ! They made sure we were comfortable and the room temperature was nice. I like a deeper massage, but it was good."

"First off let me say I’ve been a client of Skoah for over 20 years, since they started in Yaletown. I’ve shown loyalty to this business through many annual memberships, product purchases etc. I don’t write this review happily. Skoah, as it is now, is a pale imitation of its former self. Facials now are just an opportunity for a heavy sales pitch, even if you already use the products. That’s not relaxing. There’s deceptive packaging practices. When you look on the website for their serums for example, they all show 30mL bottles. But what you buy are 28 mL bottles. Every bottle, or container has unnecessary plastic to bulk it up (see pic). Their products are good, my skin is happy and I’m grateful for that. I just can’t overlook the fact that they view customers as $$$ first, the skincare part is afterwards. I’ve cancelled my annual membership and I’ve been exploring other Canadian skincare options that are less deceptive."

I had seen her work on my sister so knew she wouldn't lead me astray but I had no idea she had such an amazing ability to understand and interpret what I was looking for. She absolutely nailed it. The pickiest people in my life had no clue and just thought my mascara was on point (exactly what I had hoped for). I'm so beyond happy with her work and energy. The salon is cute and comfortable as well."

I particularly appreciate how she carefully examines and treats my rosacea-prone skin, using the best products. My skin feels amazing and looks brighter, firmer and smooth in just an hour. "An amazing Hot-Cold- Rest Circuit. It is so nice to be able to go into a steam or dry Sauna that is out of your daily Gym facility or a big Spa; although this is an awesome relaxing spa experience, but without an overwhelming high volume of people (Is more private and quiet). I’ve been a client since it opened- post Pandemic and it has never disappoint in schedule, sanitation, organization, but most importantly kind and welcoming Staff. "The polygel manicure I got was an absolute treat. The quality is superior, the attention to detail was unlike any I’ve experienced. The salon is so cozy and beautifully decorated. Perfect place to go if you want to pamper yourself. The result it also amazing! I got the chrome finish for some sparkle ahead of a trip to Miami. I also have two toddlers at home and I know these nails will withstand any and all mommying activities!"

"Trisha G is phenomenal. She is very good at what she does and I've never left unsatisfied. Front desk staff are great, not sure why people have such a hard time with them. I have heard of some appointment issues occurring but I think people need to check the junk mail in their email."

"I had this place come recommended from a friend who gets facials done here and loves them but I had a gel manicure done here, and within two days it had significantly chipped. I contacted the studio and to their credit did immediately offer for me to come in and have them fixed at no cost. However, a day after getting them redone I already have air bubbles on one of the nails that was redone. Their customer service is great but the issue must be technique or the polish being used as even after a fix I'm experiencing issues with the manicure. Perhaps a biogel or dip manicure here is more lasting but usually gel is more lasting and durable than what I've experienced."

"Went here a year ago in November for my first massage. The place was professional, the sign up and information sheet was well, I felt welcomed, I was glad to be informed of the procedures. Everyone there seemed to really know what they were doing. My attendant Lacie was very informative and instructive of the procedure which was welcoming. There were only two things wrong, I asked beforehand for a lot of pressure because I'm a tense feeling person and didn't get it. I'm a naturally tightknit feeling person. I only booked a 30 minute massage because I wasn't sure what to spend or was right for me. Unlike some people who have reviewed here I didn't feel like I was rushed or stalled at all. 30 minutes still was enough time to relax and sink in but if I get another massage I will definitely go longer. I feel bad saying this critique about another person which is why I waited a long time to write this review but she had bad breath, like she just ate a Bologna sandwich beforehand or something, which I didn't think I would notice and I doubt she thought a customer would notice but hey at least that shows I wasn't thinking about my tense shoulders or jaw. Other than that she had good technique. She was still a perfectly nice person and knowledgeable and confident but yeah in summary, light on the pressure and had bad breath. Maybe I'm just the wrong clientele, but it was interesting to try."

"I had Chloe as my massage therapist. Chloe actually listens to you when you explain your pain and your concerns. She has helped me so much even just after one 45 min session. Clearly better then many other therapists I’ve had before. I saw her again for my second visit today, about a month after my first visit and she was able to replicate and focus on my neck and back pain as well as she did the first time. Chloe focused on the areas I explained instead of also doing my lower body and other areas that are not concerning me. I will definitely be coming back again, thanks very much Chloe for your help!"
