"Now this is just my experience, everyone else has had great experiences and I love that! My experience was the rooms are cold, I had no top blanket or table warmer, which made it hard to relax. I found the table hard and uncomfortable on my big chest when laying prone (face down). The room was not quiet or relaxing, you hear every step people take as the floor creaks quite loud, and the walls are also quite thin so you overhear conversations, maybe quiet tones could be used upstairs to help that? The actual massage.. I was there for a 90 min, unfortunately Don did not touch my quads (upper front thigh) I could have asked, but I wasn't sure his routine so I let him do his thing. In the end I was disappointed my quads didn't get touched. It's hard to speak up when you are naked on a table and have a professional working on you. There also came a point when I was laying supine (on my back, face up) he dropped the face cradle, held my neck and extended my cervical spine, as he did that he pushed his fingers into the base of my skull into what I assume my C1 or C2 TVPs, I'm not sure if this is some kind of manual osteopathic movement, but it was sooo uncomfortable and my jaw has been clicking since. Maybe it is a massage technique that I have yet to learn in school.. I asked not to have my face touched as I had a jaw surgery last year. I should have clarified even further that I don't want my neck manipulated either. I'm going to the Chiropractor this morning, 2 days post massage because I'm so scared of neck and jaw being out of line now. I'm glad people have had great experiences! & this was just mine. But I didn't find it tranquil."
