"I went there yesterday and honestly, I won’t be going back— not a great experience. Summary: Looking for more pressure? Consider other places, especially if you don’t have insurance because I’m not sure you’re their target audience . Make sure to read the reviews, not just the positive ones. Details: I moved and needed a new massage place. I called to book an appointment and mentioned I was looking for a lot of pressure, the receptionist scheduled me with Pam as she is good with applying pressure. I arrived 5 minutes late for my appointment. I filled out the intake form and highlighted my neck and back as areas of concern and added comments to the form requesting a lot of pressure. Pam confirmed my preferences when I entered the room. About 15 minutes into the massage, Pam hadn’t asked me any questions about the massage or if the pressure was okay. I hoped she would, so I didn’t have to initiate the conversation. I wasn’t sure if the actual massage had started or if she was still assessing my body before the real deal. So, about 15 minutes in, I mentioned to Pam that I didn’t really feel anything and thought I’d need more pressure. She explained that with her sessions, she doesn’t immediately apply pressure; she works up to that. I said that was okay, but it would be nice to let people know what to expect at the beginning of the session. I think she may have been a bit annoyed then, so she asked when the last time I had a massage was. I said December, and she responded, “It’s March! It’s been three months, and you expect all your issues to be fixed in one visit?”. I was determined not to get angry at that comment, so I said, “No, I didn’t say that, and I don’t have insurance at the moment, so I can’t really afford to get a massage every month.” She then suggested that I book someone else. She gave me a name (she didn’t say this in a rude way or anything). She continued the massage, but at this point, i didn’t feel much; it was more like a rubbing sensation, like when you rub lotion on your body after a shower. She said that was the most she could do and if I wasn’t happy with her work, we could end the session I ended up shortening the time I had booked for initially because it just wasn’t working out. I felt like I had wasted my money. Also, when I finished and was paying, the front desk didn’t even ask for any feedback about my experience. I had cut my time short, and they simply didn’t seem interested in knowing what my experience had been or if I wanted to rebook, like other massage places do. It just showed that they didn’t care, and I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t have insurance, which is strange. Perhaps I’m not their target audience."
"Candy gave an excellent massage. She is a professional. Tanya welcomed me. They let me secure my bike. The place is very well keep. Credit, debit cash, receipt. Rate was reasonable 65/h. Your choice to tip or not I will go back. Have sore muscles etc...a good choice for me."
