"Great first time at Body Blitz. Staff was friendly and the facility and waters were very clean (though the main pools area lacks ambience). I wish the Prepare for your Visit or FAQ section of the website would have mentioned to bring a reusable water bottle. Most spas of this type that emphasize the importance of hydration offer a complimentary "spa" water and tea station but here you only find old fashioned water fountains. They do have tea and juice for purchase, my tea unfortunately arrived lukewarm. The pool area could also use more areas for relaxing (seating/lounging) and some decor as it feels a bit sterile. All in all I think there are a lot of similar spas that offer better value so I probably won't be back but it was a pleasant visit overall."

I booked a last minute appointment and was told I could come get my eyebrows done right before they closed. She always takes the time to listen to ensure she works on alleviating any pain I may have had prior to coming in for treatment, and customizes each session based on my needs. She also introduced me to cupping techniques, it relieved so much tension and it was such a game changer! I always leave feeling incredible. Experience is always a 10/10, can’t recommend Lindsay enough!"

"My family bought me a day spa at Ahava for my birthday. The massage, seeweed scrub & wrap, and Reiki in the morning were great, although laying on the hard bed became uncomfortable by time the Reiki was done. After laying for the massage and seeweed treatment, a reclined chair would have been a nice change. The afternoon was a complete flop. A lot of sitting around with nothing to do while getting hand treatment & polish. The polish wouldn't set and remained gummy. After the nail polish on my hands didn't set and got ruined, the tech re-did them but in the exact same way. I suggested maybe putting 4 coats of polish (base, 2 of polish, top liquid) on all at once without allowing drying between was the issue. She re-aplied the same way anyway. Later on, she did the same with my toes. We were very careful that my toes didn't get touched while I had my facial (not a fan of the facial either, but maybe just not my thing?); when I put my socks on to leave for the day my toe nails still weren't set and were immediately ruined. I didn't say anything at the time because it had been a very loooong afternon there and I just wanted to leave. I checked my finger nails on the way home, more than 3 hours after being done, and the polish was still gummy! On my way home, I sent Ahava a FB message about my nails, with photos and a video to show they were still gummy. When I didn't hear back from them after a few days, I contacted them through their website. I never heard back from them and that was more than 2 weeks ago The morning was good and I probably would have given a 2 or 3-star. I recommend a 1/2 day anyway because the way they have it set up in the afternoon is too boring and tedious. Because Ahava didn't reply to either of my messages about the issues with the polish, I'm giving a 1-star."

"Went for a massage for the very first time. Gwen, one of their RMTs, took amazing care of me. Asked a decent amount of questions and let me know what I am to expect before, during, and after the session. Gwen knows what he’s doing and it showed in how he was always asking for consent and in how hard or soft he was massaging me. The place is not necessarily easily seen from the outside, but if you could follow directions on Google Maps and could easily swallow your pride to ask for directions once inside Empire towers, they are easy enough to find. One other notable feature is that they do direct billing. I was feeling a little woozy after my amazing massage and my insurance was fortunately able to cover my bill and I was sent off. Easy! They do all the work for you. I can not wait for my next session!"

"I’ve been a loyal customer of this spa for few years, frequently visiting with my family for facials, massages, manicures/pedicures, and eyebrow threading. The staff has always been friendly, and the atmosphere is calming and clean, which kept us coming back. However, over time, we noticed a decline in the overall quality of the services, which eventually led us to stop visiting. This became especially evident during our last few visits. My family and I, particularly my mom, felt that the massages were rushed, with certain areas being missed entirely. This was a significant disappointment for us, as we had previously enjoyed more thorough and relaxing experiences. During one of my last manicures, I chose the same fast-drying polish I’ve used before (and paid extra for), but it chipped off within a couple of hours. I called the spa, and they kindly offered a same-day touch-up with another aesthetician. However, when I mentioned the issue to the staff member who typically worked on my nails, it felt like my concerns were brushed aside, and unfortunately, the polish didn’t last long after that session either. Additionally, while booking in advance is often necessary, it became increasingly difficult to secure appointments that fit our schedules. Even when we did manage to book, rescheduling could sometimes mean waiting a month for the next available slot, which was frustrating. Ultimately, these service inconsistencies led us to stop visiting. I truly hope the spa can address these issues, as we had many great experiences in the past and would love to see them return to the high standards they once had."

"I was feeling rather stressed and needed to relax and my first thought was to book a full body massage at the Green Wellness Massage therapy. On my visit with Margarita, the owner, I was made to feel very welcome and I knew I was in good hands. Besides the massage this time, she offered one unique feature of their services - the Charcot shower. She explained that this shower is designed to increase blood flow to all organs and systems as well the Charcot shower acts as a strong tonic to the skin and connective tissue, reduces cellulite, improves lymph return, stimulates metabolism and strengthens the cardiovascular system. After trying out this amazing shower, which I absolutely loved, she invited me to her salt room for a massage. The atmosphere in the salt room and soft music and the relaxing massage was enough to send me a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life. The hour goes so quickly and that is why I have been back to the Green Wellness Massage therapy on a number of occasions. I would recommend to all my family and friends besides massage to book the Charcot shower with them as a package deal."

"The spa is beautiful and has a nice ambiance. Parking was free, and easy to find. I had a biologique recherche facial with Janine. I've seen her before, and she is easily my favorite esthetician. She has a wonderful touch, and is very knowledgeable. She understands what my skin needs, and adjusts the facial to personalize it for me. (I'm pregnant and all the products were safe, and I don't enjoy hard massages and she was very gentle.) I left feeling refreshed, and my skin was glowing. I can't wait for the next visit."
