"I'm sorry to say I wasn't impressed with my latest visit to this salon. I went in with friends for some manicures on a Saturday. The technician seemed irritated when I was asking for suggestions on colour and style. Okay, I can see that, I should know what I want. Not a big deal, I can get past that. I also told her that I had had a manicure previously and they used a strange base coat I wasn't able to get off, and she just said she probably wouldn't be able to as well, and didn't even try. Okay, again, not her problem, she wasn't the one who applied it, that's fine. The manicure itself was just okay. The website says it includes a hand soak, which I didn't get, an exfoliating scrub, which I also didn't get. She asked what nail shape I like, and I said rounded, and then she proceeded to file them pretty haphazardly, so much so that I had to fix it myself when I got home. There was also polish left on many of my cuticles as well as the skin of my hand. The colours were nice, but the glitter she used was visually and physically lumpy on two of the nails and when I asked about it, she just told me that's how it cures and there's nothing she can do...which doesn't make sense because none of the other nails turned out that way. There is also a hair polished into one of the nails that is already driving me crazy to look at. They also didn't inform us that they didn't take debit until the manicures were finished. Overall, the people were pleasant enough, but I would not recommend this salon, and if I wasn't with a group of my friends, I would have made a bigger deal about it. But all the employees seemed to be in a big rush to set up for a party after our appointments, so I suppose we weren't a priority."

"I do not recommend this business to anyone! I have only ever given one other negative review on Google before, but I guess this will be my second one. I booked a 1hr body and 30 min foot massage. The receptionist told me that Helen my massage therapist was running late. Sure, no big deal, gives me a chance to soak my feet in warm water a little longer and wind down. After 20 mins, she comes in, zero greeting and an angry look on her face. Again, no big deal, she's probably just tired from a long day. We all have those days. She tells me to put my feet up on a stool, which I promptly do. Right after that, she slaps at my feet and angrily tells me to relax. I'm kind of confused because my feet/legs are resting on the stool and I'm already relaxed (not tense, or anything). So I kinda adjust my feet around and hope that that's better for her? Nope, she gets even more angry and tells me to relax. I tell her very politely (and almost apologetically) that I am already relaxed. But again, that seems to anger her even more. She calls for the receptionist outside, who then comes in. Helen then proceeds to insult/complain about me (in a different language) to the receptionist while pointing at my feet. Well that's it, I'm not giving my service to someone who is going to be rude to me when I did absolutely nothing wrong. The receptionist was nice and tried to smooth things over and tell me this is all just a miscommunication but at that point, I know she's just trying to keep things cool. I told them both I'm leaving, I don't even care about the massage anymore. Thank you to the receptionist who was polite throughout my small interaction with her but I'm sorry, Helen was just SO rude to me. Which is too bad because I love supporting small businesses in Sudbury and leaving good reviews. But I will never step foot in that establishment again and I'll make sure I let everyone I know how I feel about that place."

"Took the opportunities to try a free trial with Elena on the open house a few weeks ago and it was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend going and trying Elena. Also a very beautiful and relaxing salt room was magical."
