"Went to Thermea yesterday, Saturday with my partner for the evening time. Honestly, the whole experience has gone down hill and the price is getting more and more steep. This is my 4th visit over the years, use to be way better. When we first arrived 5 p.m. check in, went to the men’s locker room it was INSANELY busy, packed where we had to stand there for 10 minutes to get to our locker area where guys had to change in front of another, shoulder to shoulder, it’s worse then a gym’s locker room…they clearly need to expand the area for the volume of people. When we finally got to the pool areas it was pretty packed too but manageable. Other areas of the experience were packed and busy too but tapered off in the evening thankfully. We went to the restaurant for dinner the food and service was fantastic. We got a great view upstairs near the fireplace. Portions were huge too. Our server she was amazing. Me and my partner stayed till close we went through the whole experience which was nice but near the end of it, it turned upside down as I tried to order a beer just after 9 p.m. for the poolside at the bar they refused to serve me as it was apparently to late… to pour a beer lol. Then on top of that two staff members were rude to me, laughed at me, then walked me out of the bar to get me out of there. I went to customer service right after that as I was upset they listened, took my information, and the manager offered me 25% off my visit which was a nice gesture. However, the bar staff the way they treated me (the paying customer) is unacceptable and should be reviewed. We still had an okay experience… the resto, pools saved the review but Thermea definitely needs to improve in some areas."

"I’ve been going to Matrix for two years now and been recommending it to family and friends. The rooms and washroom are clean and charming. I love the heated bed, warm towels and instrumental soothing music during the massage. Leigh is my favourite massage therapist, she is excellent! I very much appreciate that she does her massage quietly and not do any small talks nor make mannerism sounds. I go on Sundays and the place is serene, I have not experienced having other staff nor customer talking loudly in the other rooms since I’m the only customer in my time so this really makes the experience so relaxing so I hope it stays that way."

I went in with neck pain and a week long headache, she worked muscles I didn't even know I had around my rotator cuffs, and I left a little tender but feeling better than I have in months. The room was very relaxing, the music was soothing, and Lani was professional and informative! I'm quite new to massage therapy, so she explained what she was doing when working on certain areas and gave me some helpful tips on how to combat muscle tension. In the middle of my massage, I had to stop to tell her it was the best massage I have ever had, and I can not wait to go back!"
