"I had recently started a new job that involved using muscle groups that I haven’t used since I was in school. After the second day of this new labour-intensive job, I was in pain from head to toe and I didn’t think that I was going to do another day. After trying taking Ibuprofen and Aspirin, followed by a long hot shower…..to no avail. I eventually gave in and went to try a massage to relieve the tension in my body at Tokyo Acupressure Health Center. This is the best decision I could have made. It was a great experience from the second I walked through the door. I warmly and professionally greeted. My masseuse was named Linda and she looked after me very well, I took a hot shower afterwards to get any remaining oil off and went home feeling much better and relaxed. I highly recommend going there even if you are not just starting a new job. I plan on making a visit on a regular basis and incorporating it into my new exercise program. Parking and easy access. Update. I now have been back 3 times and each time I return, it gets better. Not only am I fully satisfied but am impressed by how well I am treated each visit. I get to have a great shower in a better cleaner stall than I have at home. They supply clean towels and have an “on-site” laundry."

"I recently had a microdermabrasion facial with Jeannie, and it was a fantastic experience. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the session. Jeannie took great care in addressing my skin concerns, and I left with my skin feeling refreshed and glowing. She truly did an amazing job, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more treatments!"

"Had an appointment with Grant Smith, RMT. Despite being an initial visit and only scheduled for 30 minutes, Grant took the time to do a thorough assessment before beginning the massage. I expected the massage to be rushed after the assessment, but he went over and above expectations, spending the entire 30 minutes on working out a stubborn kink in my neck. 5/5 for Grant's work. Their office space is in a medical complex. It is small and dated in appearance. 3/5 for clinic decor. The business does not have a receptionist, so the phone often goes to voicemail. It may take a while but one of the practitioners will return the call. Invoices/receipts are prepared by hand, but stamped with the clinic's details; should not be an issue for submitting claims to benefits providers. 4/5 for clinic professionalism. Website includes a feed with upcoming available time slots. 5/5 for convenience! Edit: they now have an online booking system."

"I've been going here for a few months and have had a consistently amazing experience with James Alberto! He's super friendly, nice and really professional and good at what he does. Definitely the best massage experience I've had in my life. He always asks you at the start of the session what you would like to focus on and works with you to plan out the session so you use your time well. He always checks in during the massage to make sure the pressure is okay too. He's really great at finding the problem areas and targeting the source of muscle soreness and aches. A lot of times he finds places I had no idea were even sore. By the end of each session I always feel super relaxed and loose. He's also really knowledgeable and can recommend you exercises to do to strengthen muscles and prevent soreness. Definitely recommend booking with James, he's amazing!"

"I've been dealing with a bad hip issue and decided to look for a massage therapist in my area. I read some reviews about Flex and decided to try it out about a year ago. I've seen 3 different therapists over the year and I have to say Nicole Girard is amazing. She asks questions to target the area you want. She also doesn't rush you which is important. She has alot of knowledge and provides you with stretching tips for your problem area. The clinic is very clean and inviting. With the recent changes surrounding covid-19 the clinic has put certain policies in place to make you feel safe. If you are thinking about booking an appointment don't hesitate you will happy you did."

"I highly recommend Joseph (Physiotherapist) and Dennis (Chiropractor). They are knowledgeable and holistic in their assessments and treatment approaches (including manual therapy and exercise prescription). I appreciate how they do not solely focus on symptom management yet restoring/maximizing function. They provide client-centred care by understanding the client’s needs and considering opinions from other healthcare professionals (sports med/ MD/specialist). They are very good at explaining why they do what they do and provide exercises that help me progress in function. I am so glad that Joseph and Dennis are within my circle of care, and they can corroborate and figure out a comprehensive treatment plan based on their expertise and experience. I am thankful for this interdisciplinary care in my recovery journey."

"I never post negative reviews but I do have some comments about this location. First off, they did an excellent job on my brows each time. My issue is with the constant cancellations and requests for rescheduling on their end. Every time I booked using the online system I would get a call a day or two before the appointment with various reasons for why they can’t keep the appointment. I work nearby and it’s often a challenge to find times to come in during the workday that fit with my schedule. Rescheduling is usually not an option for me but I have tried to accommodate their requests when possible as I didn’t want to lose the appointment entirely. Despite loving the service when they do keep the appointment I don’t think I’ll be booking here anymore after the fourth time in a row with these kinds of requests from them, as there is a lack of professionalism and consideration for the clients’ time."

"Clean and inviting space. The nurse I saw for a lymphatic drainage massage was knowledgeable and made some good recommendations. 2 star because they don’t offer refunds on retail products. Purchased a $180 Vivier cream that I found out I’m allergic too (unopened, checked the ingredient list with my derm) and they still wouldn’t return the product Also don’t offer packages on lymphatic drainage massages, they’re $75 each and you usually need a few sessions I’ll take my business elsewhere"

"I went into see Pamela Funk yesterday for the first time. I had a regular massage therapist that I went to regularly until she moved. Finding a new (good) therapist is hard to do, was loosing hope. Pamela was able to find all the spots (and a few extras) that needed attention. She was careful to listen to my needs. Very impressed with my visit. Just a "heads up" a deep tissue massage is not a relaxation massage! It will hurt, if it doesnt, then its not doing what it is supposed to. On that note, Pamela was very attentive to adjust the pressures needed for the areas she was working on to keep me as comfortable as we could. It may take a few days to see just how big of a difference one visit makes. Will definitely be seeing her again."

"Some of their masseuses understand the need to get in there with an elbow to grind a muscle knot and get everything loose again. Some of them seem afraid of causing pain I think, even though it will ultimately result in a better patient experience. I'd happily take more pain during the session if it means I can touch my toes at the end."
