"Multi family home - turned spa. The owners are lovely, friendly people who want to make your stay nice and relaxing. You can tell this is a small business. Nice people working there. Place is tranquil and pretty with all the trees. Sandwiches and beer was very good. Thank you. There are quiet sensory rooms, cute idea if that’s something you might need. Decor quite nice and unique for a spa. Food was nice. And over all it has a very cozy, warm feeling. I feel this place must be really nice in the fall and winter. Why I gave a 3 star The spa is under staffed and we witnessed the female owner doing many jobs, rushing around. I had the male owner as my masseuse, due to lack of staff that day. The spa opens at 11AM. We went in at 11AM. There was garbage left, seemingly from the day before, in the locker rooms, and no toilet paper in the bathroom. The hot tubs and cold pool had bugs and leaves in it; which is understandable given the amount of trees around, but we had to skim the hot tubs ourselves. The doors in the bathroom and locker rooms were very dirty and needs painting over. The fake plants/flowers (there are many) need to be dusted badly. The bathroom sink was dirty and the over all feeling is it wasn’t too clean. Unfortunately, I don’t feel the $$$ is worth the stay. But the place is pretty."

"Lets Relax is the new nail salon on thr block. Located across the intersection of Keele and Major Mackenzie ...- it is bright and open, and the location is fairly convenient. The staff is friendly and professional. I'm so glad we did - what a relaxing experience! The salon itself is a quiet little place - having only 2 pedicure and two manicure stations stations but it is the staff that brings the difference. Mind you most of them do not speak fluent English but they know what they are doing, and do it well. I couldn't make an appointment but I decided to take my chance on my way back from a meeting - they were welcoming and took me in right away. Also because it was a quiet Wednesday afternoon! It was by far the most relaxing manicure and pedicure I have ever had - they didn't rush and what an amazing brief but relaxing hot stone massage - in the end my feet felt great. Merit: New in business and energetic staff. Great deals and good value for money. Limiting factor: Location (in Maple) and communication."

"The massage here is good, no complaints there but they need to get a receptionist who knows how to do her job. This was my 3rd visit and last 2 visits were good, friendly receptionist who took time to attend me and also provided me the receipt as I have 100% insurance claim. Today I entered with another customer and the first question she asked was my name and how would I like to pay. I went with the flow assuming she has my details and told her to provide me the receipt. She handed me the card machine receipt saying for a claim bill you need to mention specially that you need RMT, something I never did the last time and of-course the lady did not bother to check either. Waited for 10 mins till she finished others as she couldn’t multitask something she said to another customer as she made an error in his bill. She did give me an option to give my money back but not write a receipt for a service that I paid even before my massage started and I was in too much pain to cancel my appointment so I did it anyway. All in all I am paying 140$ from my pocket in-spite of having a 100% claim. This place needs a competent receptionist with a good customer service as they have good therapists but my whole experience is ruined and I am not coming back here even though this place is 2 mins walk from home"

"Amazing place! I went there for the first time, I arrived 15 minutes before they opened, and the door was unlocked exactly at opening time. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and informative. Unlike some other spas, they provide slippers, a robe, and 2 towels. The change room was very clean. The facilities were fantastic! There is a wood-fired Banya with a room on either side. The steam room was large and comfortable, there is a cold-plunge pool next to the hot tub, and a cold-water bucket you pull on a chain and it dumps over your head. The salt room was quiet, and I read a couple chapters of a book I brought. I've been to hotels and gyms that have saunas and steam rooms that are lukewarm at best. The temps at these facilities are hot... just as they should be. The free loose tea selection was extensive and delicious. They also provide free iced water with lemon to keep you hydrated. The lounge was very comfortable, and the other attendees were charismatic and conversational. Most of them spoke Eastern European languages, so I knew that this Banya was authentic. The food was FANTASTIC. The server, Anton, described the dishes very well. I ordered the Draniki (potato pancakes) and the soup of the day, Salyanka. Incredibly delicious. I also saw the dishes he brought to other tables, and they looked awesome as well. This was my "Indulgence Day" for self-care, and this Banya hit the bulls-eye on every aspect of my visit. I will definitely return."

"It was my first time visiting Sandalwood and it definitely won't be the last time. Lia and Lisa were amazing, kind and detail oriented. They took their time with painting my nails and when I scratched my pedicure, Lia very kindly helped me repaint them. I had cut my finger the day before and Lisa made sure to take extra care when she was doing my manicure and patiently created the design I wanted. Their pricing is also quite reasonable, I got a shellac manicure and regular pedicure package for $69 plus design costs. They also didn't charge me for removing my old shellac which was a very nice bonus! Definitely want to try their other services next time and will be visiting them again for my manicure needs!"

"On April 13th at 6 pm, I had the worst experience at your center with an acupuncture session with Luna. The session started 10 minutes late, the room wasn't in good repair, so it was another few minutes where it was impossible to relax since Luna came in and out of the room several times, making a lot of noise. The masseuse didn't live up to the session as it was very scattered. She gave me only two needles in my neck for 20 minutes, then cupping for 10 minutes, and finished with a very rough, sloppy massage with those plastic gloves they sell in supermarkets. If I had known they weren't interested in providing quality service at that hour, I would have chosen this as the last place. It was too sloppy, unprofessional, as if Luna was in a hurry to finish. A wasted session, for sure."

The most personable massage therapist who always makes sure you're comfy during treatment. He really knows his stuff and ensures you are recovering in the most optimal way in between training. Right from the prompt email response I got from Julie (over the Easter break too I may add), the personable front desk staff and my electrologist, Megan, I had the absolute best experience! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, efficient and the entire experience was nothing shy of euphoric.
