"Went there for a couples massage bought off of groupon. Atmosphere was not like a typical spa, not very relaxing. The massage was very nice, we both enjoyed it. However after it was done we went to tip, and the lady said groupon doesn't charge the taxes and said we needed to pay her more money. I said that groupon includes all taxes and she told me to prove it. We didn't want a commotion so we just paid the money. Afterwards I emailed groupon to ask them about this, to get a response that the taxes are definitely included, the lady just wanted more money. I would never go back."

"I used to go here for about 2 years now to get my eyebrows done. The first year it was always great, top notch service and the result was great too. The price was unbeatable at $5. But recently it’s been horrible!! The older lady there rushes it for no reason. There is no one waiting but she finishes in 2 min, I actually timed it once. My eyebrows were uneven, there were strays left behind and she didn’t even wipe off the hair. It felt like she wanted me out of there ASAP. And this was not just once, this happened the past 4 times I went there. And to add to that, they increased the price, which is totally fair in this economy, but my issue is that the service has gotten so bad. Use to rave about this place but not anymore."

Expected to pay $75 ended up paying with additional charges, $115 for a shellac manicure. To boot, a mouse was spotted in the lounge room near the complimentary water & snacks."

"This review is long because I want to share this execeptional experience. I was talking to a colleague that is from Morroco about spas such as BotaBota and she referred me to this Marrakech Hammam and Spa institution which is a completely different experience to the other spas that I am used to. At first, I was nervous because I went alone and did not know the rules, but the staff were extremely helpful by showing me how to proceed and truly made me feel welcomed all around. I had ended up getting waxed, and the natural products they used left my skin feeling extremely clean and smooth. I had chosen the "Entree Hammam et avec gommage for an 1h30 minutes". At the end of receiving such care, it was like this spiritual awakening where my body just released all of the stress that was built up inside. I felt so relaxed that I was curious to then look up the history of this self-care ritual. All of this to say I will continue with this self-care routine because it is truly "Where beautiful meets spiritual.""
