"I decided to get a massage done on my short trip to Calgary. I called around 6 pm, and they were able to find me a spot at 10 am the next day. It was done by bonnie, I believe. I could tell almost immediately that she was very good. She stretched joints, relaxed muscles, and pressed all the right points. She used a hot stone and some brush like tool? To massage muscle better. I personally really love deep tissue massage, so it was right in my alley. I also loved the massage table as it has arm extensions...! The massage was so good that I took a good nap afterward. I understand why everyone leaving the place looked so tired ???? because I believe all the masseuse are really great... plus, you can see sheets being changed are in the washer and dryer. This place is hygienic, and you can smell clean fresh sheets as you get a massage. I will be back again when I am in Calgary."

Eleonore paid close attention to the areas I needed help with and loosened everything expertly! The atmosphere of the spa itself was also fabulous - so modern, clean, and soothing. "Storm Spa on Nuns Island is a fantastic place to unwind. The spa has a unique open view of the sky, making it a great spot to enjoy a full moon with your date or partner. The staff is friendly and informative, ensuring you have a pleasant experience. They offer multiple saunas (both dry and wet/hammam) and hot pools, along with two cold dipping pools. The hot pool has bubbling water that resembles hot spring ponds, which is incredibly relaxing. We particularly loved the indoor resting areas, which have comfortable seating arrangements. The lockers and changing rooms were spotlessly clean and well-managed. There's also a restaurant on site, which we didn't get to try this time but will certainly be visiting again. Plus, there's plenty of free parking available. Highly recommended!"

"I had a very disappointing experience with Strøm Nordic Spa. I purchased a gift card for $536.53, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Instead, I was unfairly charged an additional $265 for services already included in the gift card, and after nearly two months and multiple follow-ups, I still haven’t received a refund. Their customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful—despite acknowledging their error, they’ve failed to resolve the issue. The experience itself wasn’t great either: the thermal baths weren’t relaxing due to inconsiderate guests, and the massage left my partner in pain. To top it off, I experienced an allergic reaction after my visit. I cannot recommend this place to anyone based on this experience. It’s disappointing to see such poor customer service and lack of accountability. Here are some pictures of the food because this is the only thing that saved the day."
