"We visited the Metrotown location on Saturday. Since we had booked the appointment in advance everything was seamless and fast. The whole staff was very pleasant and welcoming. The location was clean and the rooms were cozy as you would want them to be. We had a couple’s massage to pamper my wife for her birthday. The massage was relaxing and everything was perfect. We would definitely go again and recommend this place to everyone who wishes to go for a relaxing experience. Special shoutout the my spa therapist Rachel who made the whole experience great."

I started with a foot massage while drinking tea, and I felt like all the stress in my body was gone. The body massage was good, but I wish the oil was a little warmer. Just with reflexology he could tell I had a horrible constant cough and pointed out a couple other things and gave me some good advice. Nice atmosphere and good people"

"I visited Grand Wellness on Saturday March 22nd with my sister for a bath soak. It is obvious that I'm quite pregnant (8 months) and I was really looking forward to a nice hot, relaxing bath. Upon arriving I was offered a drink, which is normal for them to ask before going into the soak; I've been multiple times in the past. When I said "I'd love one but I can't, I'm pregnant", the conversation with the girl working the front desk became awkward. She had to go ask if the soak I chose was fine to have to have during pregnancy, I had to sign a waiver and they adjusted the temperature of my bath. I had this exact same soak (milk, honey and mandarin) at 8 weeks pregnant months before, and didn't disclose that I was pregnant. I was absolutely fine then. But I signed the waiver anyway as I knew they were just trying to cover their butt incase something happened. Once I got into the bath, I was extremely disappointed because it was COLD! Not even luke warm.. my body is sore, I don't fit in my own bathtub at home and all I was looking forward to was a hot bath. I had to drain more than half the bath and fill it up myself with hot water which I essentially also lost a good portion of what the soak was made up of. So I didn't even get to experience the full soak which was supposed to leave my body feeling soft and refreshed. After all was said and done and I was paying at the front, I was asked how my experience was. I said "it was okay, it would have been better if my bath was actually hot" and I was met with only a "oh, sorry about that". A soak for two isn't cheap, and it definitely ruined my experience. I obviously will be back, I love GW, but I can't stop thinking about this and how I was treated. No one wants a cold bath.. a credit to my account would have been nice."
