"Worst manicure I've ever had. The shop and nail station was dirty. The tech cut all around my nails including the skin behind my nails taking chunks of flesh out in 5 places which continued to bleed for several hours they were so bad. I was left sitting under a nail fan with no instruction while the tech left to start on another customer. After sitting for 10 min without any further interactions from any staff I got up, paid almost $40 for the regular (not gel) polish that chipped within the hour. On top of everything, it took an extremely long time. I was there for an hour and a half!"

The person who did the massage was unprofessional and just did random things without understanding proper techniques. When we informed the manager, he just said "yes," which was a weird reaction. If you want a good massage, ask for a female therapist. After this incident, we have decided not to return. It’s really sad. "Very nice and friendly people. I haven't had a pedicure in a long time but I remembered tenspot was the most hygienic back in the day when I DID get regular pedis. Got a gel pedi apt for 9am and was done before 10am. I didn't specify shape. Just clean and tidy and sparkly. This location is kind of a dated look now...I remember the old location being much brighter and maybe that added to that feeling of it being super clean that I liked haha but I had no other complaints. "We were lucky to get a couples massage on fairly short notice! We've visited RnR at Fairmont but never here at Le Germain. It was nice pulling up at the Valet and not worry about parking and included with any bookings at RnR. The spa is on the top level which is a nice difference from typically being in a basement. We got keys for our lockers where we had robes and slippers to change into. Each changing room has a sauna which isn't preferred for a couple wanting to spend time with eachother. Hot drinks are included and I ordered a latte but was told that the milk frother wasn't working (and they had no milk alternatives). I settled for an Americano which was tasty and my wife had a tea. We snacked on trail mix while lounging in one of the waiting areas until our massage. We were led to a small but nice room with 2 heated massage tables. We both were really happy with our therapists and our first visit here."

"I drove all the way from Regina to Edmonton for a conference next week. I visited Secret Spa at the lunch time today. It was very quiet around probably due to the extremely cold weather. The beautiful young lady brought me in the room for hot water showering then gave me an extraordinary good service that make me feel as happy as ????king. When staying with her in the room I even forgot that I've driven for more than 10 hours in the land of -40 degree. She incorporates the use of essential oils into her lotions (if clients wish) and can expertly identify which areas need the most work. "I received a mommy spa package from my hubby for Mother's Day. Due to surgery after surgery, the appointment was post poned until I was able to fully enjoy this service. I cannot stress enough how amazing the reception was with all of the changes. Always cheerful and understand. I started off with the inferred sauna that was stunningly decorated with the option to shower afterwards. (Huge plus in my books) The massage was 10/10, and the entire time, I felt extremely relaxed and in good hands. I was then lead down to the manicure room that was sooo trendy and cute. The entire spa sits in an adorable tiny village in downtown burlington. As you continue your package, you're escorted through the antique building that has such a danty feel. It was clean and furnished amazingly. If you have a chance definitely give this hidden gem a try. I cannot wait to return. Thanks for your hospitality and phenomenal services."
