"The staff is extremely rude. I have been there once. Today I try to make another appointment through the phone call. After it is connected, someone spoke French. Then I responded by saying "hello, I would like to..". Then the staff simply did not want to speak with me anymore and she simply hanged up on me. This is racism and discrimination. I feel sad for them."

"I hadn’t visited this spa in a long time as we usually do Ten Spa but we wanted to try something different this year and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Not only was the treatment amazing but the amenities were lovely. It wasn’t nearly as busy as Ten Spa so you could use facilities freely without waiting. I also love that they have both a steam and a dry sauna. I’ll definitely go again."
"I don't give one stars often, but this was disappointing. I saw several people when TR Spa first opened and they gave great deep tissue, but now the massage person was more interested in asking for a tip . I wanted deep tissue and she told me it was and then proceeded to barely touch me. I was cold in the room and she didn't even bother give me a blanket."
"I went for my very first massage, and i went with the relaxation 60 minute massage. Katie was absolutely awesome, had a great chat with her. i also like how they put up a courtesy sign that says it’s okay to ask for a silent massage. I will definitely be back!"
"If I could grade this place lower than "poor-fair" I definitely would. The owner is EXTREMELY rude and has zero customer service skills. I had a gift card for a whole spa package including massage, facial, mani, and pedi. I phoned to book an appointment and she kept telling me she was busy and whatever day I wanted she said she was completely booked. After finally getting my massage/facial done, I booked an appointment in person for my mani/pedi. I watched her write my new appointment in on the day/time I said (meanwhile no other appointments were booked). The day before my appointment she called and told me I missed my time, and argued with me on the phone for 10 minutes saying it was my fault and I didn't have the right information and now she couldn't do my ACTUAL scheduled appointment because she was "overbooked". I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.... I cannot believe this lady is still in business. Do yourself a favour and skip the guaranteed hassle she'll give you and go somewhere else."
"Found this place in a corner and it instantly became our go-to luxury spa. See pictures. We first tried the brow tint and they were very careful and concerned, even asked about allergy and accommodated the style and shape we want. Nafkot took care of us with great customer service and quality work. We've been returning for more brow tints ever since. Then I recently tried the body scrub special they have and it was an absolute luxurious experience. Definitely a recommended place for self-care and feel relaxed due to the amazing ambience here. We will come again!"

"Massage works is a good place to go after a workout or a particularly hard day at the office. They have a bunch of people who know how to loosen you up. In particular, I find that if I go here first thing in the morning I am prepared for the rest of my day."
"Don't know what changed here. Used to be nice at reception. I called this morning sick, asking to be rescheduled to a later date. The owner seemed to think I wanted to cancel with no notice, and asked me to call at a later date to reschedule. But I don't want to pay cancelation fees, so why would I do that? I clarify myself, and he offers me times for next week. I take a time, comment that next time I'll make sure to not to double book with my sick schedule, and am refused service. Just as well if the owner of massage athletica is looking for reasons to refuse business, I suppose a comment from a fellow with a cold will do. UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner of the Portage location, Kyle (not the one I spoke to before). He was very apologetic, and wanted to make things right. My other experiences with this business has been positive, so I will still call them next time I need their services. Folks will come to their own conclusions, but I've felt that their good ratings were well earned. Looking forward to the next visit, Kyle!"
