I recently had a 2-hour massage with this therapist and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. Despite clearly requesting a focus on my back to address knots, she only spent approximately 20 minutes on this area. Instead, she primarily used hot stones and suction cups, stating that my back was too stiff and the knots were difficult to address. When I reiterated my request to focus on the knots, she dismissed my concerns, asserting her 15 years of experience and even suggested I return to my previous masseuse in Bali. Additionally, I received multiple reminders from her less than 24 hours before the appointment regarding a price increase from $160 to $180. While she did honor the original price, as I had booked prior to the change, I couldn’t help but feel that this might have influenced her overall approach during the session. Additionally, her handling of the sheets and pillows was quite rough, making the experience uncomfortable and far from relaxing. This lack of attention to detail detracted further from what should have been a calming session. I had chosen this therapist based on her positive reviews, but my experience was disappointing, both in terms of customer service and the quality of the massage. I feel like 2 hours was sufficient time to address my back. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future clients.
