Milk&Honey in my humble option is the ONLY spa I will ever seek my personal services at! Nicky gave me the most wonderful pedicure yesterday and let me tell you, she is stuck with me now as my pedicurist. Beautiful environment and an amazing energy of positiveness runs throughout! I could go on and on…. Go check them out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.????????
If you’re looking for a well rounded beauty studio, your search stops here!! I am so excited for Sarah and her beautiful studio. There is something here for everyone - from nails to laser and (almost) everything between. Years ago, I got tired of going to the chain nail studios, paying top dollar, risking infection and having my nails fall off or break within days of getting them done. Since I started working with Sarah, I have not had a single nail fall off or break and let me tell you (cover your ears, Sarah) - I abuse these babies. Sarah has absolutely mastered gel nails! One thing that really draws me to Sarah is her cleanliness. She is obsessive about cleaning and sanitizing. I guarantee this will be one of the cleanest, safest experiences you can have in the area. Not only is she obsessed with cleanliness, Sarah is incredibly dedicated to training and keeps up to date on current trends. In addition to being an absolute nail wizard, Sarah is incredibly Skincare Savvy! This past year, after having some trouble with confidence crushing acne, I consulted with Sarah who helped design a CUSTOM SKINCARE plan (Image and Dermalogica) to suit my unique skin needs! She took care to explain each step to me and has been a super massive help in reducing my acne and helping improve my skin texture (and confidence!!) At the beginning of January, I visited her for my first laser! She took time to explain the procedure and calm my anxious nerves. I have had a couple of sessions and I’m already seeing amazing results!! TL;DR - Go here. Book an appointment today.
I had a fantastic experience at Milk and Honey Beauty Studio! The team was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, making me feel completely at ease throughout my visit. They took the time to understand my needs and provided expert recommendations, ensuring I left feeling confident and refreshed. The studio itself is welcoming and well-maintained. I highly recommend Milk and Honey Beauty Studio to anyone looking for top-notch beauty services with exceptional customer care!
I just had the most relaxing and rejuvenating 90 minute facial with Sarah. I was cold and tense but within a few minutes on the heated bed I was warm and relaxed and my face feels amazing! Highly recommend!
Sarah runs a professional operation and provides excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this Indigenous Beauty Studio.
I received a pedicure from Chantal. My feet got the love they needed. I love the polish color as it will go with any outfit. The space is cute, and very clean.
Worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Spoke with the owner after, and she seemed like she was apologetic. But all she offered was to come back in and get a polish change, and the last thing I wanted to do was ever go back here, but since she offered only this a compensation… I agreed. A few days before this appointment I messaged the owner to make sure I wouldn’t have the same nail tech again and she said I wouldn’t and I said ok good, thanks. I did not say much at all… that’s literally it. And she lost her mind on me for hours after that. Saying I was rude and that they don’t want to do the service to make up for the experience I had anymore. I said ok then maybe even just a partial refund and she continued to lose her mind and say things you’d never expect to come from a business. Let alone the owner. Had I started it first by saying rude things, then I’d sort of understand. But I didn’t say anything rude until about her 2nd or 3rd rude message and then I had to stand up for myself. And eventually block her. A business should have much more class and self control. And this isn’t even explaining how bad the pedicure was. The nail tech took over 2 hours to do it. I was the only customer there the entire time. And she was the only staff member. I had sent an inspo pic off of their own Instagram 7 days prior to my appointment. They said no problem they can do it and to just show my nail tech. It was just simple polka dots on the big toes. But instead of the owner communicating to the nail tech that it was a decal they used…She said nothing to the nail tech. And the poor nail tech struggled to get the polka dots the same as the inspo pic. And they looked horrible. Not at all the same as the pic. But I didn’t get angry or behave rudely or anything at all. I just told her I didn’t like them when she asked. But it had been 2 hours already and I couldn’t stay any longer for her to file off the gel and re-do them. I have been getting pedicures for over 20 years. I’ve never had a single issue and have gone many places in that 20 years and have always had good experiences. But she told me I had 2 ingrown toenails and proceeded to cut the shit out of my 2 big toes that hurt for weeks after leaving there. This has never happened to me before. I’ve never been told this before. I’ve never had pain or any issues with my feet. Nothing. But of course after complaining about it taking 2 hours and the pattern being so off I didn’t feel like I could mention this too. So I left it alone. But did mention it in my follow up message as my repair appointment approached and the owner lost her shit on me for even saying anything. I just told her my toes hurt so badly for weeks. Didn’t say anything rude here either. Just told her what happened. We had family visiting from the east coast the day after I got my pedicure and I could hardly walk the entire duration of their visit. I take care of my nails and between pedicures I cut them myself. I always make sure they’re cut really well to avoid in-growns. I would never recommend this place. And just to top it off… I tipped generously even after the bad experience. Because that’s the right thing to do. Which clearly they don’t believe in on their end. The entire service was way less than a normal nail salon. Massage chair was mediocre and hardly did anything. Same with the foot bath. They hardly file the bottom of your feet. Only put a little cuticle oil and no lotion. And it’s much pricer than other places I’ve been. So I really went thinking it be good. And could be my new place. Man was I ever wrong. And then they couldn’t even think to remove me from their spam text list and I got a text today only to be reminded to this terrible experience. Unbelievable.
I was a little uncomfortable getting a pedicure, as I'd never had one, and didn't know what to expect. A lady at work mentioned getting one done, as my toe nails were growing at odd angles and out of shape. Chantal and Sarah both made me feel at ease in their bright, well stocked shop. They're both super knowledgeable and do a great job. Thanks ladies for making my feet feel better! :)
