Queer friendly and offers electrolysis hair removal in both thermolytic and galvanic. Friendly and professional staff and probably my favourite place for hair removal in the city. The technician Michele is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Definitely book ahead if you're getting it though she's busy for a good reason! :)

It is such a beautiful and clean space; however, I wish I felt more welcomed during my appointments, often times I was never greeted and felt very uncomfortable. I think a little warmth and personality would go a long way in making this space truly special. A warm touch or personal flourish would make all the difference in making guests feel truly welcome and at ease.

Michele and her daughter Gabby consistently deliver top results wheather it's laser/electrolysis hair removal or just a day to relax and get a facial. Most importantly they are wonderful people who make everyone feel welcome. I can't give this business enough stars !!

Follow up to my original review: It's been more than a year since I first visited Michelle and I wanted to provide an update. I've had 2 laser sessions since my last review and my impression of Michelle has only gotten better. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at her job! Throughout the sessions, she explains what she's doing, why she's doing it, and the pros and cons of all of it. I wish more professionals would be as thorough as she is. She makes her clients feel like they can truly make an informed decision based on their own needs. I feel comfortable in the service I'm receiving and know that it's exactly what will work for me. As it has been in each session so far, I'm laughing almost from the minute I arrive. Michelle's sense of humour is on par with her professionalism. I have already booked my next session with Michelle, you should do the same - I promise you won't be disappointed. Original review: I found my new esthetician, and she's fabulous! I went to Michelle and will be going back again and again. I had the sugaring done so I wouldn't have to shave on my upcoming vacation. I'll be going back for the same service,and then for laser service in fall. This was Michelle's recommendation based on my skin and sun exposure, etc. The location is easily accessible, it's clean (VERY clean!), and most importantly, Michelle is very knowledgeable. I found my time there flew by as Michelle is very personable, professional,and quite funny. I don't think I've ever had so much fun while getting hair ripped out of my legs. I am currently going through my Laser Hair Removal treatments and I could not be happier with my experience at Oasis Beauty Bar. I’m so happy that I decided to take the leap and try out laser. Michele has made this experience so much easier for me. She is so welcoming and comforting — truly the best of the best. Michele and Gabby are the best mother-daughter team. I love coming to their salon and always enjoy my time there. The salon is beautiful, has a great atmosphere, and is always so clean. I recommend everyone to come here for their services.
