Amazing experience start to finish with Vanessa. I did a big chop going from long hair to a bob for hair donation. She was awesome at giving advice for my hair type and chatting through the process. She really put me at ease. Now a week later, I couldn’t be happier with my new hair and will be coming back to her for touch ups.

I've been going to Vanessa at Sound for 17 years. She's the only person I trust to cut my hair. I've never had a bad experience or a bad haircut: my hair always looks and feels amazing; everyone is talented, friendly and helpful, never judgemental (not even about my habit of box-dying). It's the best salon in the city!

I’m notoriously very nervous about new people doing my hair as I’ve had some bad experiences before, but I have to say I’ve never once had a bad experience at Sound! Payton not only did everything I asked, but went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the whole time and that I would love the way my hair turned out. She was super chatty and easy to talk to and gave me the most gorgeous colour and cut! Will 100% be booking with her again ????

The staff at Sound are always to welcoming and quick to offer a coffee/tea/beverage every time I visit. Vanessa has been my go-to stylist for over a decade and I can’t imagine anyone else giving me the perfect blonde shades that she has mastered. Lisa will give an incredible pedicure and has been so accommodating with my busy schedule.
