"Cute little hotel/spa/restaurant combo in Trois-Rivières. If you're coming from Montreal, it's around a 90-120 minute drive which is not too bad. It seems to be more used by the locals, but it's still a nice getaway if you're looking to get out of the city and spend some time relaxing and disconnected from the busy life. The hotel is in a separate building from the spa, but is connected by a long corridor on the ground floor - a fantastic way to avoid the cold as you can literally walk in your bathrobe from your room to the spa. It's actually a neat idea as the "relaxation" part of the spa circuit can be done in your room if you're looking for something more private. The rooms are pretty standard and while the fireplace is nice, it's tough to recommend the KiNipi signature suite. While it's their priciest room, there isn't enough to stand out in order to justify the price. We were also disappointed that the room didn't come with water bottles, mini-bar, snacks or even slippers. The spa is pretty small, but has all of your usual options: two saunas, one hammam and two outdoor hot/cold pools. The relaxation options are pretty limited in winter though, as all of the hammocks/chairs outside are too cold to enjoy, and all the indoor rooms aren't anything special. While silence is part of the spa's rules, we noticed that most guests ignored it especially during busy hours where it can get pretty noisy. Finally, as with most spas, the massages are great and highly recommended. They have duo options too if you want to be in the same room as your partner. Easily the highlight of our entire trip."

"Overall it was great the spa was really relaxing and beautiful however, we stayed in a room and the floor wasnt washed there was a lot of hairs, rocks and dirt on the floor and my boyfriend walked on an old used earring! We only had one towel for two and there were no rug for the shower. We called the reception to tell them and the only solution was to give us a cheap bottle of prosecco and a note saying they were sorry but the floor wasnt washed still dirty and nothing was done about it. We had to ask ourselves at the laundry room for a broom and the lady told us we were the third person to ask for it this night. We then talked to a person staying at the hotel and he told us his room was also dirty and he was not happy about it. When we talked about it at our check out the receptionist (she was a blonde and skinny girl) doubted that the room was not clean didnt even say sorry and she never smiled to us the whole time we spoke to her. Now I know that someone complaining is never nice but at least try to look sorry. Appart from that the restaurant and the massage was really nice and the food was good as well as our waitress, she was so nice, smiling and kind I would recommend the spa and the restaurant but the rooms and the reception needs to be handled better."

"The spa is lovely. It's a little bit small, but very nice. We went for a massage and the massage was great except the massage therapist was wearing lots of perfume, which was unpleasant. The pools are nice and clean and plenty of place to rest."

"This is a review for the spa…driving from Montreal to QC this was a relaxing respite to refresh during vacation. The food was quite good, the hot and cold pools refreshing. My favorite was the woodland area and the salt scrub steam room."

"An amazing find for a spa. We initially picked this spa because it closed at 11pm, whereas most spas close at 7 or 9. I can gladly say we loved our experience! The parking has many spots for your car but it’s mostly on gravel. On the outside, the spa looks clean and well maintained. The receptionist was nice helpful. We received a towel, a locker and a bathrobe. More towels can be taken downstairs at no extra cost. The bathroom/s/ showers were clean and bright. Many lockers with two different areas for showers. The cycles The hot: Hot baths are clean and water is hot. Two different hot baths are available with two little caves with waterfalls in each hot bath. The saunas and the hammam are also clean with hourglasses near the door. The rooms are very hot with water stations at the door. There is also a spot near the hammam where you can exfoliate your skin with salt and then rinse. The cold: The cold baths are nice and cold. Enough to shock your body after the hot cycle. There are two cold baths with one cave and waterfall each. Relaxation: Many places to relax. There are chairs a bit all over the site. Most chairs are at a second level near the woods. There are also chairs in the woods and near campfires. There are 3 campfires on the sites and at least one is turned in at all times (from what we saw). There are some hammocks, egg chairs, pool chairs and regular large chairs. Overall this spa is a “must go”. The facilities are clean, water temperatures are perfect and the place is very quiet. We took the package deal of the thermal experience with the restaurant voucher (2 thermal experience access with 120$ worth of restaurant voucher for 234$, we saved 56$). Also a must try! The food and drinks are delicious! Worth the price of the package! A few options for different palettes and you can sit on the terrace in the second level to eat without having to change clothes."
