Booked an appointment last week for 6pm. I show up and was greeted by two lovely people and upon arrival was asked if I needed anything that it would be just a few minutes not to "rush excellence" which was all fine and dandy. The person supposed to be doing my hair was still installing extensions in someone's hair. Not once did they communicate with me that I'd be waiting OVER an HOUR. At that point I just walked out. Their loss not mine.

Had a wonderful experience getting my nose pierced here. I was super nervous but as soon as I met Crystal, I was put at ease. I came into my appointment with a personal concern and they handled it so graciously and professionally, this meant a lot to me and made it a very good experience. I love my new piercing and highly recommend Allure!

I went specifically asking about curly hair, they told me the stylist new what she was doing, she was sweet but absolutely butchered my hair, and her child was at her place of work distracting her while she cut my hair, repeatedly they told me to come back if I wasn’t satisfied, so I feel like she knew she messed it up. She continued sheering my hair after it was styled, and it actually looked decent when leaving. After washing my hair I saw how botched it was. I didn’t trust them after that so I went to someone else to fix it. When I called the owner offered me salon credit also told me the stylist children were always welcome there. Which again fine but like …. Maybe not if they are distracting the stylist while they cut your hair?? at that point all trust was lost and I was hoping for a refund. She told me she would call me back and absolutely has not. I wasted over 100 dollars for a botched hair cut. Do not go if you have curly hair

CASS, you are the best! ❤️ she gave me the best haircut ever, i just moved from Toronto, and was not sure about whom to trust with my hair. But the way she explained me about the haircut, and made sure it looks good according to my face shape. She literally copied my inspo pic on my face. Im sobbing rn. She is the best ❤️

At first I didn't like my hair. But I decided to leave it wavy and it looks alot better. It's quite blonde and I do like it now. The salon is very nice inside and the staff are friendly.

This review is for people with curly hair: TLDR: I ignored the red flags, and my curls were butchered. When i called to book my appointment, i told them i have 2c/3a curly hair, and i would like a stylist with experience with my hair type, as i was in need of a significant cut. I finally found a style i loved, and wanted to take off about 8 inches. I'm such a people pleaser, I'm sad to say i ignored the red flags. I was booked with Kaliopi. I was desperate for a sign that i had made a good choice and was excited when i saw she had wavy hair herself. Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived. The first red flag: i was booked in for a 1 hour appointment. How could a stylist have time for a new client consultation, curl cut, wash and style in only 1 hour? There was no consultation. She barely even looked at my hair before she washed it. She started to cut, completely ignoring my curl pattern. I had even sectioned out the hair that naturally falls forward for bangs. I'm now left with an awful, strange triangle section in the center of my forehead. She put a pea sized amount of product into my hair, and combed with a fine tooth comb. This left my hair with the most awful frizz imaginable. She then used thinning shears to add "layers" that have left the ends of my curls looking like dead ends. I went home, cried, and rewashed my hair to try and see how i could possibly fix it. I resigned to the fact that the only thing i can do is wait 6 months to let it grow out a bit so i can go to a curly stylist in Ottawa. I did ask her to fix up my bangs a bit, as that was the only adjustment i trusted her with more than just doing it myself. I requested a call back from the salon to figure out what i could do, but no one ever got back to me. I will never go back to Allure, and I warn any curly haired person against getting their hair done here.

Thank you recommending Brad. I was in today and I’m very please with not only with the work, but his professionalism, how clean the shop was, and the inviting experience from everyone in your employ. An A+ and I’ve already booked my next session, as well as I have recommend him to some of my friends as well as I have recommend your salon in general too. I am very glad I decided to add some ink and update another. These are very special and personal to me, for a variety of reason, so a big thank you to Brad Rogers at Alure for the great work. Looking forward to our next session. I fully recommend them
