The facility was clean, inviting, calm. Atmosphere very zen, which is what I needed. Natalie was wonderful, and was very involved in making sure I didn't need anything. I had a couple of bloody Mary's, they were fantastic. The massage and facial were extremely relaxing & good for the soul. The thing that I was so impressed is that I was able to stay to enjoy the sauna, and thermal waters for as long as I wanted!!! So I literally spent like 7 hours from beginning to end since my husband was working, I had all the time to relax. Best experience ever!!!!
We came for a girls day. We normally go to a spa in St. Catharine’s but saw a few post on FB for the oasis and spa. The facility was clean, calming and reasonably priced. We each booked a massage and facial. The staff were lovely. My skin feels amazing today! Best facial I have ever received. Natalie at the front desk was so kind. She guided us through the facility and even brought us our food and drinks. She continued to check on us throughout our stay without being pushy. The wine selection was perfect! We spent two hours in the oasis and 100% will come back. We enjoyed how quiet it was for the location!
So first off, parking is horrible for the spa. In fact, I paid more in parking (during the winter when NO ONE IS THERE, and not even valet parking) than I did for my Oasis Pass. That out of the way. The oasis was fairly priced (It means I only enjoyed the spa pools and saunas). It was clean, well maintained, and nothing was broken. I definitely walking out feeling better than I did walking in. If you deal with bad allergies like me, I highly suggest the salt sauna, I'm making this the day after and I feel great and my allergies are almost none existant. The amenities are great too. In the changing room, they have lockers that lock protecting your belongings. There is also toothbrushes, toothpaste, nail files, cotton swabs, mouthwash, combs, shower hair coverings, razors, shaving cream, and I few other things that I can't remember unfortunately. The spa area wasn't cramped, had seating, plenty of towels, even some complimentary water and I believe either tea or coffee. The staff were also kind and reassuring. Overall, great spa, bad parking areas though
Visited this spa last weekend and it was alright. The staff overall was very nice, but the facilities do not give “Zen” the locker rooms are tiny. Everyone is on top of each other which leaves very little privacy. The waiting rooms for massages and services are right across the locker rooms with no doors or anything so it is very loud hearing the other guests walk in and out of the locker rooms or hydrotherapy area. There is no way you can actually relax before your treatment. The three thermal pools outside are tiny. They allow 6 people per pool. There was a group of girls in there for about an hour before they left the warm pool which is probably the most popular because it’s not too hot or too cold. With the pools being so small I feel there should be a time limit especially on the weekends when it’s already so busy. By the time they left, people were rushing for their turn which I don’t blame them. The food is subpar. Across the facility they only offer lemon water, tea, and coffee. Most hydrotherapy spas that I’ve been to also offer at least fruits, nuts, etc. some places even offer a small cafe with the price you pay for their services. We ordered the beef tacos and for $32 we got two tacos and some fries…such a rip off in my opinion. Overall the experience was eh. I recommend checking out other day spas in the area.
Great experience especially in the snow. We had a day pass - the outdoor bottoms weren’t fully we had a pick between extreme heat, medium heat, and ice cold! The inside spa was also nice with the salt sauna. It did start to get full but there is another regular sauna outside. Overall a nice warm treat after a cold day at the falls.
Me and my partner went here over the past weekend to celebrate Valentine's day and this spa did not dissappoint! We did the 55 min couples massage and added on the thermal oasis package for an extra $35, which was totally worth it! The massages were awesome and the thermal pools we loved. There is nice indoor relaxtion area with lounge chairs and a indoor hot tub. Then on the outside deck was 3 more pools, one being 104 degrees, 94, and 50. I found the thermal experience very relaxing going from the hot/warm to the cold plunge. Yes, its cold! But once you're in over a minute or so it feels so fresh and reguvinating! There is also a indoor himalayan salt sauna and and outdoor sauna as well overlooking the pool deck. We ordered some of the drinks and food on the menu and they were good too. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly. The change rooms also have some toiletries available to freshen up such as tooth paste and brushes, gel, mouthwash, etc. Overall, we enjoyed it and it was a nice getaway. Last time I came here was over 2 years ago and I got the manis and pedis and those were awesome too. Totally recommend! Also as a side note. Valet parking is complimentary - or you can park across the street at the other Marriott hotel for free and walk 2 mins!
The spa itself was good, but the unprofessional behavior of one staff member ruined the experience. When we tried to pay, there was confusion about being at a different Marriott hotel. Instead of addressing the issue politely, this staff member reacted with anger, condescension, and a dismissive attitude, making us feel uncomfortable. When we entered the spa, she was supposed to give us a tour but instead spent just three seconds explaining the facilities in a dismissive tone, as if we weren’t welcome. We didn’t understand the tour, so we asked another staff member for help. Thankfully, this person, who was slightly older with dark hair, completely turned the experience around. She patiently explained the spa features, including the three pools with high, medium, and low temperatures, all while being kind and welcoming. Her professionalism and warm demeanor are the only reasons this review isn’t a one-star. The difference between these two staff members highlights how critical customer service is in creating a positive experience.
My husband and I came here for our anniversary and it was such a great time. Despite the spa being a little small compared to other thermal journeys, you can still spend all day here. The outside pools are so clean and relaxing! The inside has another pool and Himalayan sauna to use. We did the couples package which included a massage and facial, which were so relaxing I didn’t want them to end. The RMT knew what they were doing, and the staff was so pleasant and helpful. I’d recommend this spa to anyone dropping by the Niagara area!
