I want to give zero stars. I had a good experience the first time I went, so I recommended my sister for a colour correction. When she went into the salon, the hair dresser processed “lightener” aka bleach for over 50 minutes at least. The left side of her hair fell out from the chemicals and the hair dresser accused my sister of lying about previous chemicals she had used and the lightener was reacting to those chemicals. My sister went in for the colour correction knowing full well she had bleached her hair and didn’t have unrealistic expectations. Beyond that, no test strand was done prior to any chemicals being applied to the entire head of hair. The hairdressers professionalism during the session was lacking, as she kept throwing her hands up in frustration. After the appointment, my sister returned home with chemical burns on the side where hair had fallen out. Having recommended this salon, I won’t be returning and have reached out to the salon but have yet to hear back. My sister was charged a flat rate of a colour correction despite everything.

I've been going to Chantelle's since we moved to Chatham 12 years ago. Both my daughter, step daughter, son and myself. Love all the staff and always have a great experience. Highlights, colors, cuts and updos. Would recommend 100%

Amazing experience hands down they make you feel welcomed and treat you with respect. They are looking to please every customer with time and care. I am new to the Chatham-Kent area I was worried about getting my nails, toes and eye brows done in the area because I am from Toronto and I was wanting a new place to go to. I was working and met one of there employees one day and asked what type of nails they do and if they can do designs. The women stated that they can do what I needed (showed her pictures on my phone what I wanted). She told me the prices and made me feel comfortable about getting my nail done. Overall experience was fantastic and I will definitely be returning for my future nail, toes, and eye brow appointments! Maybe even hair, eye lashes and more....as it is a one stop shop for everything! Great place!!! Great people!!!

Unprofessional use of bleach products on my friends hair. Burnt her hair off and left chemical burns but blamed her for it despite the over processed bleach and use of plastic instead of tinfoil. I get my hair bleached every 6-8 weeks and this has never ever happened to me. Do not go here if you want to lighten your hair!

Went for a trim came out looking like a triangle!! Went back to have it fixed came out still with a triangle head and now with huge pieces missing, my entire haircut was uneven with long pieces! Didnt show me the back and I saw why when I got home!! Avoid at all cost! Will not be back.
