Gem Spa came highly recommended by a friend. I’ve been getting gel manicures at Gem Spa and I absolutely love it. My manis last a full two weeks with absolutely no chips or peeling. The staff is lovely, the spa is cozy and clean, and the work and colour selection is awesome! Very reasonably priced for a lasting manicure. I’ve had appointments various technicians and I always leave extremely satisfied. 10/10 recommend.

The spa atmosphere was very welcoming, calming music and a lovely scent. Natalie did my pedicure and she was absolutely wonderful. Very sweet, friendly and thorough. She did an excellent job on the polish and the experience as a whole. I will definitely be returning for my next pedicure and look forward to taking advantage of some of the other services.

I just had a pedicure with Natalie, and it was an outstanding experience. Natalie’s professionalism and friendly demeanor made the session both pleasant and comfortable. She took great care in her work, and my pedicure looks absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend Natalie for anyone seeking excellent service and high-quality results.

One important warning, on top of a high recommendation. The service is excellence, the staff are friendly, the work is high quality, the space is beautiful and relaxing, in a very convenient location. But currently (2024) they use a product that permanently alters the scent of any clothing worn or washed with the clothing worn for treatments. I used the "Monarch" scent so I can only speak for this one, but after I washed the clothing I wore to the spa with other clothing, ALL of that clothing smelled like "Monarch." I washed all of it again a total of six times on various settings, once including with vinegar, and left the load of clothes on the clothesline outside for two weeks (which more or less destroyed the one formal wear item, the rest were casuals so were fine). I then soaked for one hour in hydrogen peroxide and washed twice more. The scent is definitely reduced but is still there. For those who are fine with scents, this should be no problem at all, but if you are sensitive in the sense that you don't mind the scent once, but don't want it with you going forward, or if you like to have control over how your clothing smells, they do offer scent free and I would suggest taking this option. Update: the scent has spread through more of my clothes - I think maybe one item got mixed in and contaminated others. At this point, this is the permanent scent I will be wearing, as I can't afford to buy all new clothes. I would advise Gem Spa to stop using this product; this is an unacceptable level of impact from a product that could easily be switched out for another line. You may wish also to inform the provider.

I did a body wrap treatment today with Whitney and it was the such a comfortable experience, from start to finish! The treatment also included a facial and massage, and I left feeling so so relaxed. The space is cozy and clean, and I also loved getting some snuggles from her adorable pup :) would absolutely recommend Gem Spa and can’t wait to go back!

My husband booked the Pearl package for our anniversary as a surprise, and while there were some highlights, there were also areas for improvement. The facial was incredibly relaxing, and Emma did a fantastic job. However, the manicure and pedicure fell short of expectations. My nail paint chipped the same day, and the seating wasn't very comfortable. On the bright side, the staff were exceptional, displaying a wonderful attitude throughout my visit. Overall, a mixed experience.

Have been to Gem Spa a few times now and have had all positive experiences. Nails lasted as long as 4 weeks without chipping, and they always take their time and do such a great job. Thanks Shereen for the awesome experience during my last visit! ????

I started coming here last year and I've been here 3 times for the body scrubs/massage package. Each body scrub has been a great experience and I've enjoyed trying the different scents. The atmosphere is wonderful and the aestheticians are professional. Their facilities are comfortable, warm and exceptionally clean. Every time I've been here, I've been so relaxed I end up falling asleep during the massage. The massage oils that are used also don't feel sticky and moisturize your skin, without feeling like you need a second shower. Highly recommended if you need some self-care.
