I recently stayed at Harrison Hot Springs Resort, and while there were some positives, the experience overall was disappointing. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable—no complaints there. However, we were supposed to check in at 4 PM but didn’t get our room until nearly 5 PM. There was no apology or acknowledgment from the front desk; it was treated as if it were completely normal. To make things worse, the robes were missing from the room, and we had to wait another 30 minutes to receive them after calling. The pools, which are the main attraction, were not well maintained during our stay. I was shocked to see a tampon floating in the water on the first night, and even more disappointed when it was still there the next day—along with other trash like biscuit wrappers on the poolside ground. It was honestly very off-putting. On a positive note, most of the staff around the resort were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. For the price and reputation of this resort, I expected a higher level of cleanliness and professionalism. A simple “sorry” for the delay or more attention to the pool area would have made a big difference.
I had a lovely overnight visit here. I wanted to have a little getaway for myself and I booked a room with a third-party agent. The agent certainly didn't live up to my expectations because when I got here, they didn't have a pet friendly room for my dog, which they quickly accommodated me for and didn't charge me for it. I was very grateful to stay on the west side of the building on the ground floor, which had immediate access to the outdoor and indoor pools. It was also an easy access to take my dog out to relieve itself. It was a long weekend, so I anticipated a lot of people and I was correct but I was still happy with my accommodation and the service. In the restaurant I believe my server's name was Angie I and she was just excellent and I know the table next to me was giving her a very hard time and she never let it get to her. She was very professional and unfortunately nothing could make those customers happy. She deserves a raise and a 12 week paid vacation. I was extremely happy with my meal and the service and the conversation we had. The weather was a little bit on the cool side and somewhat rainy, but still a beautiful place to come and visit. Of course it will be a little bit more expensive on a holiday weekend, but it was worth the trip. I wasn't disappointed and I'll come back someday with my dog and my dog also approves too as he had a great visit and a great sleep in the big king size bed with me. ????. Thank you, Harrison Hot Springs for giving me a little time of way from reality. I appreciate everything you provided and I'll be back again someday.
We are very familiar with the Harrison Hot Springs area, as it’s only about an hour and a half’s drive from Vancouver — a perfect distance for family trips with seniors who prefer not to travel too far. Accommodation options here are either very high-end or quite basic, and it's hard to find good mid-range places. This motel’s newly renovated two-bedroom suite was a wonderful surprise! The suite is spacious, bright, and offers a stunning floor-to-ceiling view of Harrison Lake. One bedroom has a king-size bed, the other has two queen-size beds, and there’s also a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a large fridge, cookware, and seasonings — perfect for families. Even better, two adjacent guest rooms are also available, allowing the space to host around 14–16 people altogether. It's a fantastic option for small group retreats or team-building events. The location is excellent: just a two-minute walk to the Harrison Public Hot Springs Pool, with plenty of restaurants and cafés downstairs. A leisurely evening walk by the lakeside was the perfect way to end the day. We were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely come back again!
Visited in spring(Easter long weekend). It's off season. Still considerable crowd was present while checking in. Rooms where spacious and good view from East wing. 4 pm to 4 30 pm - Tea time, have to line up, Tea will be served and you can select a cake or cookie it will be given on Napkin and you can sit anywhere, need 1 more got to line up again. Food will not be delivered to hotel. If it's a to-go, call restaurant, Food may take 20+minute for prep. Buffet Breakfast and service was good. Checkout at 11, you may not able to extend. However you will get pool access till 1 pm and parking till 1 30pm. All you need to get a separate access card for pool access post checkout. All the pools where busy day, evening, night. Hadn't tried Spa and Gym.
Good hotel, good.fscilities well maintained hotel overall and good hotel reception and cleaners. However one big thing that should be mentioned is walls are too thin, we heard a big argument going on at 1am in the morning. That affected our sleep. Better noise reduction is needed I'm rooms. But i would recommend people to come for the pools, fully heated and lots of space and very nice experience.
We went to Harrison Hot Springs Resort for my birthday, and it was truly a great experience. Our room had an amazing view—the lake and mountains were right in front of us, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. Although the hotel is old, everything was very clean and well-maintained, and we felt completely comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The hot springs were absolutely delightful, especially after a day full of walking and exploring. There are several pools with different temperatures, so you can easily find the one that suits you best. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Another great thing is that you really don’t need to bring extra stuff with you everything is provided in the hotel, including different kinds of towels, a hairdryer, body and hair shampoo, and conditioner. However, they didn’t provide toothpaste or sandals, so make sure to bring those with you. One thing I wasn’t completely satisfied with was the dinner at the restaurant. For the high price, I was expecting something more fancy or impressive. Also, one big downside for me was that parking wasn’t included and had to be paid separately, which I found quite disappointing.???? Overall, it’s a lovely place for a romantic or family getaway.
We are very thankful for the great enjoyable stay at this hotel, as always with great service and pleasantly nice staff. Special thanks to Kim, who was as always very attentive to our requests and placed my family next door to my sister’s family, at close proximity to the pool. Also, we are very thankful to Angela, who cleaned our rooms very thoroughly and was very nice helping with other needs. The rooms had the most wonderful views at the lake and mountains. It is our 25 th visit to Harrison Hot Springs resort and we will come back from Seattle as soon as we can.
booked last-minute at Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa and ended up with one of the cabins outside — it was the only thing available. I checked in pretty late around 7 p.m., but when I got to my room, it hadn’t even been turned over by housekeeping. There were dirty sheets, glasses, and leftover food still everywhere. Definitely not the first impression I expected, especially given the late check-in time. I called the front desk right away, and to their credit, they handled it really professionally. They apologized and offered to send someone to clean it immediately. I decided to head out for a bit, and when I returned, they had not only cleaned it up but also offered me a complimentary upgrade to a higher floor room inside the hotel instead of the cabin. That upgraded room was awesome — clean, comfortable, and made my stay so much better. Overall, the situation started off rough but the way the staff handled it really turned things around. It was disappointing to experience that in the first place, but their customer service helped save the experience. I would stay again — just double-checking the room first next time.
