I was fortunate to secure a same-day appointment due to a cancellation and had an great experience. The persistent neck pain that had been limiting my range of motion subsided almost immediately following my session with Iz. I will definitely be booking again which is made very easy through their website.

I think 1 star is also more. I had to get a massage done for medical reasons and had booked for a time slot suitable for me very much in advance. But they cancelled it on the day of the massage citing booking issue which was very unprofessional. When a customer cancels it he gets charged but when it's done by the company there is no incentive. And when I called today to ask for any other slots they would not even talk professionally. Felt very disrespected. Would not wanna come here at all and not do any more bookings here.

Absolutely the best! I have been coming here for over six months to relieve stress-related tension in my neck, shoulders, and lower back, and I have never felt better! My massage therapist, Iz Shafey, RMT, is an attentive listener and great communicator. He has impressive knowledge and applies the right amount of pressure when needed. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated after each session. Overall, it has been a truly enjoyable experience! I highly recommend it.

I Walked in and sat down. Two girls where behind the counter on their cell phones. Not once was i greeted. All i wanted was to be acknowledged. Very unprofessional. Definitely these two individuals need to be coached on what not to do when a customer walks in.

I just saw Makenzie for a one-off appointment to help loosen me up for IMS treatment. She was absolutely lovely and very attentive when I was explaining my reason for being there. Her pressure was perfect and she hit all the right spots. I feel much better than I did when I walked in and anticipate a solid snooze this evening. I yapped the entire time (sorry Makenzie), but she was easy to talk to and made me feel totally comfortable. Makenzie is a very sweet girl and is an amazing RMT! I will go back to her in the future. ????

I've had a completely insane three months filled with three surgeries, followed by more than a dozen appointments each week (this on top of a pre-existing spinal compression fracture, issues with the lumbar spine, chronic pain, and so forth!)—it felt like it just wasn't my year. To make things worse, I also had to find a temporary replacement RMT on short notice—in December—because my regular person was going to be away. ???? I called Hillside Massage Therapy straight off Google, and they found me not one, but two RMT appointments! I had some reservations about the early-morning time slot; however, when I arrived at the clinic, all my concerns dissipated: the office was clean and modern, the rooms were minimally appointed and comfortable and the therapists professional and friendly. ???? I had a chance to work with Iz Shafey and I am extremely impressed! As I mentioned during our session, it's sometimes hard to tell how a therapist might accommodate a client during the initial session; however, I had no doubts in this case: Iz made sure to listen to my ongoing concerns and specific requests for sore spots during today's session—and to check in after the session was finished—I got some time to change. Then we began to work on my broken body. ???? I told Iz at the beginning of the session that I've been practicing breathing "into" various pain as it manifests with my current therapist, and he agreed to let me do my breathing as we worked. When I needed a specific spot addressed (for instance, I sit down a lot for work, so my glutes are often a problem), Iz found the issue without hesitation and worked over each spot very thoroughly. Iz seems to know a lot about pain points because (with just a couple minor exceptions), he was able to zero in on trouble areas without me even saying a word. (By the way, despite having very strong fingers and hands, Iz can be gentle without causing excessive pain during the session.) ???? I've had a bunch of neck, shoulder, and back issues for just about a decade now, so I can tell pretty quickly when a therapist is just poking me, hoping for something to happen, or actually knows what they're doing. Iz belongs to the latter category—I felt completely invigorated immediately following our very first session, and I look forward to adding Iz's expertise to my therapeutic mix. ???? For these reasons, I strongly recommend Iz Shafey and Hillside Massage Therapy to one and all! ????

I've been happy to experience my first massage at hillside! Tarynn has a very flexible schedule and would highly recommend for anyone in need. She was very knowledgeable and created a great calming environment that was super calming. Definitely going to be booking again with her at hillside
