My wife and i rented the space for a private session on a Saturday afternoon. Beautiful space, very private and relaxing. Great views of the lake, really enjoyed the freedom to move between the sauna, cold plunges and fire pit at will.

Had such a great experience at the new Nanaimo lakeside location. Staff were great and helpful. The sauna has a great view. The ice bath was a refreshing challenge. And the fireside is perfect for relaxing between cycles. The only thing I would hope for was a clock in the sauna so you know how long you’ve been in there for but there is a large clock outside when you walk in. Absolutely will be going back!

Loved my time today at the sauna. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The introductions are clear. Beautiful view of long lake from the inn. Parking is great. The ice bath was my favourite and will be coming back for sure! What a relaxing time with my friend! 100% recommend

We had an amazing private sauna experience at Island Sauna in Nanaimo! The view over Long Lake was beautiful and made it feel extra special. The sauna was clean, cozy, and peaceful. We loved the cold plunge—it was super refreshing—and the sitting area with the fire pit was perfect for relaxing afterward. The whole setup felt relaxing and well thought out. And the best part? The prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to unwind in nature.

This has been my third time at Island Sauna since they’ve opened their Nanaimo location. It’s perfect! The wood fired sauna is so beautifully made, relaxing views of long lake, and cold tubs ranging in temperatures. My favourite part is saving myself 15 minutes at the end to sit by the fire and read a book!

We booked a private session on a gorgeous rainy day and it was absolute heaven! The sauna was hot, clean and has a beautiful view of long Lake. We enjoyed the cold tubs and the fire place area. We will be back again!

Amazing sauna/cold tub experience! Facility was clean with a great atmosphere. The fire was always getting stoked and the tubs were often getting refilled with ice. 10/10 would recommend!
