Love this place, always get a gorgeous cut and style. The shampoo and massage are lovely. I saw Michael today and he was great. I have just past my shoulder, super thick hair, so I'm picky about where I get it cut! My daughter has very thick, long, curly hair and she is always happy after she gets it cut here. I'm not sure who cut and stylized her hair, but it was fabulous.

The staff at Maffeo Salon is wonderful and professional. I had a personal consultation with Michael to find out about grey blending my hair, he listened, gave me good advice did exactly what we had discussed. I made an appointment for a color consult. It was cancelled and made another appointment. I waited 30 minutes the asked the desk lady to check what was happening. She said I would have to wait another 15 minutes. A color consult would take maybe 10 minutes. The hair dresser expected me to wait 45 minutes. Is this the way they treat their customers. I would not recommend this Salon.

2024 update: Thanks Quinn for amazing hair cuts, colour and hair advice! can't wait for next time ☺️ Quinn discusses my hair goals, her plan of action, and checks in regularly throughout her process. she recently helped me recover after a bad box dye mishap and was clear about cost when I requested an estimate (as this was a "hairmergency" I hadn't planned on and hadn't budgeted for, haha!). I enjoy visiting Maffeo, the salon is always clean, friendly, and cheerful. 2022: Christa E. was lovely. I've seen her twice now for an annual hair cut. She takes the time to understand your hair and comes up with a plan to get you the look you are seeking, explaining her process and checking in with you throughout. She also gives a mean scalp massage!

I had hair basically to my butt and had cancelled 3 previous hair appointments because I had been so nervous and anxious about cutting it. I felt like my long hair was my identity, but it was in serious need of a trim. Quinn was my stylist and she went above and beyond to make me comfortable with every aspect of the cut. She didn't make a move without my consent and the control that that gives you helps sooo much with the anxiety and the fear of being out of control. I appreciated that so much and will highly recommend this salon to everyone I know and will definitely be returning myself. ????????
