The therapeutic massage was excellent and got all of the kinks out. I felt extremely comfortable and the service was professional quality comparable to a high end spa at a reasonable cost. I left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to unplug for an hour of self-care.

I wish I had read these reviews before going. Now I’m one of many that have had a bad experience with massage addiction in the north end, I would NOT recommend this business to anybody. The establishment itself was fine, the massage was mediocre at best, my frustration comes from the fact that some of therapists are delisted by the insurance company, so there is no reimbursement to you the client. I was not told about this prior to my appointment and I’m now out $109. I’ve called three times to try and reach a manager to discuss a potential solution and each time I’m told they will call me back I’ve also written via email to their client care address with no attempt on their side to return any correspondence, guess they don’t care about customer satisfaction. Wish there was a way to give less then one star. Do yourself a favour and choose another provider, massage addict is not worth it it my opinion.

Stefan was easy to talk to, efficient at his job. I told him my issues and he was able to help with my pain and discomfort. The girl at reception was friendly and talkative. I was extremely pleased with the service and staff! I have rebooked and can’t wait for another treatment. Thank you!!

I am a regular at Massage addict both stores in Barrie. Always had good experience and relaxing massage. Out of all the therapists that I had taken massage from, I think Stefen and Reza were the 2 that merely petted me. Not even an honest attempt to massage. Only these 2 occurrences I felt like wasn't worth the money I paid.

I recently had a massage at Massage Addict in Barrie, and while the actual massage experience was pleasant and the RMT Alexandra was great, the experience at the reception with Kayla unfortunately fell short. The 3 stars is just for the RMT Alexandra. After the massage, I waited quite a while as the receptionist tried to process two insurance claims. She mentioned that the system went down, which further delayed things. To make matters worse, after the wait, she asked my friend if she should process my insurance – exactly what we had been waiting for her to do all along! Overall, the massage itself was good, but dealing with the front desk was frustrating and disappointing, especially on what started as a nice, relaxing day. Some improvements in customer service and efficiency at the reception would really help.

Tiffany is the absolute best! She’s been my masseuse for over 10 years and I always feel like a new woman after a session with her. She has a long waist so book well ahead of time or go on the cancellation list for her. Clean and cozy facility. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates.

I have booked massages at Massage Addict Barrie North for the last two years and appreciate the convenience of online booking and direct billing. However, the reason I love going to Massage Addict is Imelda. She was recommended to me by a co-worker who was raving about her experience, and I have visited her as often as I am able since I found her. Imelda is incredibly skilled and knows a great deal about massage. She has a technique that involves hot towels that loosens my muscles before she massages them and I leave her treatment room feeling relaxed and free of tension. Imelda fixed an issue I had with my wrist for more than 10 years in only a few visits! She is professional, kind and incredibly talented... I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
