I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday, hoping for a memorable and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had, especially from a brand as reputed as Marriott. To begin with, the room was surprisingly small and lacked basic amenities—no complimentary drinking water, insufficient toiletries, and a toilet with a poorly functioning flush. The towels in the washroom had an unpleasant odor, and the lighting in the room was far from adequate. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better attention to comfort and cleanliness. There were unexplained card charges simply to “verify” if the card worked, which felt unnecessary and unclear. Additionally, the parking situation was frustrating. Guests are charged approximately $50 to self-park, yet still have to walk about 3 minutes to access their vehicle—highly inconvenient and overpriced. While the front desk staff were polite and respectful, the overall hotel experience was far from satisfactory. For the premium rates charged, the service and amenities fell drastically short. In contrast, I had a far better experience at a Comfort Inn on a previous trip—clean, comfortable, and without the excessive costs. I expected more from a major hotel chain like Marriott. Unfortunately, my birthday vacation was negatively impacted, and I left with a very unpleasant impression. I hated it!!!!!
A Memorable Stay Thanks to Amazing Staff! We recently had a reservation at the Marriott Niagara Fallsview Hotel that unfortunately got cancelled because we didn’t call ahead to confirm our late check-in. When we arrived and discovered there was no reservation under our name, I was overwhelmed with worry. That’s when Patricia -- the front desk manager-- completely turned our experience around. She immediately noticed my concern and reassured me, saying, “Don’t worry! I will get you into a room.” And she did just that—quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. Patricia went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, and her kindness truly made all the difference. Aside from the outstanding service, the hotel itself is incredible. The view of Niagara Falls from our room was absolutely breathtaking—worth every penny. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Niagara Falls. Between the world-class staff and stunning views, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again, Patricia and the Marriott team, for making our trip unforgettable!
Our stay at the Marriott Fallsview was truly memorable. We stayed in a spacious family room on the 22nd floor, which offered a breathtaking view of Niagara Falls right from our window. The room was perfect for a family, featuring two master beds and four beds in total—extremely comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our experience even better. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying with a good variety, and the restaurant overlooking the falls added a special touch to our mornings and evenings. Overall, a wonderful stay—highly recommended for families looking for comfort, convenience, and unbeatable views!
First of all, what an amazing place and easy to book. They told me that my room had a little upgrade. I must say, a big update since they've put a jaccuzi! Plus, there was an independant shower too. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there. My room was very clean (I can tell, because I used to work at an hotel years ago). Not a single nail nor hair, the bed was clean as well with new sheets and pillows. Employees are smiling and welcoming. Thank you Andy for your joyful presence at the breakfast. I really appreciated since it was my first experience and I went alone. I recommend this hotel a 100%! ????
I recently stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed my experience. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of Niagara Falls – absolutely breathtaking! The hotel overall is very good, with friendly staff and a convenient location. The only downside is that the interior of the rooms feels a bit outdated and could use some modern upgrades. Still, I would recommend it for the amazing view alone.
We booked a Fallsview room at a premium price, expecting a top-tier experience. The view was absolutely breathtaking and truly the highlight of our stay. However, the overall service and amenities didn’t quite match the cost. When we requested simple items like drinking water and toothpaste, we were asked to pick them up from the front desk because housekeeping was busy. This felt inconvenient for a hotel of this standard. While the location and cleanliness were great, the service could be more attentive to enhance the guest experience.
It was my first time in Canada, and I decided to stay one night at the Niagara Falls Marriott Hotel and Spa! The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Rainbow Bridge border. It was less than 7 minutes to cross over from the U.S. (I drove). The views were incredible! I got upgraded because of my Marriott status. I only selected a few pics because I the video I made included myself in it. My room had a jacuzzi for 2 overlooking my bed, a separate shower, a king-sized bed overlooking the Niagara Falls! The amenities and room were clean and comfortable, and the service was impeccable! The restaurant on-site also overlooked the falls and had gourmet-style food. They had Starbucks on-site, too, and if you preferred, an i-Hop next door! The hotel was literally walking distance to the Incline as well as the Falls! The on-site parking, though, was a bit much! $45 overnight self-parking at the hotel, and then I think it was $35 off-site, or $65 valet! Since it's in the city area, and I was leaving at 5a the next day, I chose the valet for my own safety. Nonetheless, I'd definitely visit again! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
The view of the falls from the room was absolutely gorgeous. I could not say the same for the Marriott Fallsview Hotel. Our first room was disgusting, with stains on furniture with leftover food on the carpet and mold growing behind the peeling walls of the bathroom. Front desk staff reluctantly moved us from the initial room they claimed “was one of the best in the hotel.” Our next room was updated and cleaner, but the AC did not work. It was extremely hot at night despite the cold temperature outside. Staff admitted that the AC does not run during the winter off season. Because of the inconveniences, we were told we would receive a 50% off our stay, only to find out that it was “50% off the first two night” at checkout. It was clear they used this phrasing to confuse guests into believing they were offering half off the entire stay rather than simply one night free. When I clarified that our stay was going to be only 33% off, front desk staff continued to reiterate “50% off the first two nights.” The fire alarm went off as a false alarm the last night of our stay at 3 in the morning. When I also brought this up, they offered no apology or resolution to this as they explained that the fire alarm going off means it is working properly for our safety; while I understand this is out of there control, some leniency in checkout time would have been appreciated, for example, as our sleep was disrupted in the middle of the night. Attached are photos of our first room and some from the second room, which also did not lack its fair share of stains though less than the first. There are also photos of the dirt accumulated under the carpet in the lobby.
