I had an exceptional time at my facial with Amanda this past week. She exuded peace and competence - the perfect balance of functional information, and a relaxed, healing presence. I appreciated that she was mindful when giving recommendations to not slide into a sales pitch, and even made a point to say that she doesn’t recommend wasting product (ie replacing products before they are done), and instead offered samples (but in a very low pressure way). The massage portion of the facial was so incredibly relaxing, and I left feeling like my skin felt noticeably renewed. I can’t wait to gift others this experience, and return for the odd treat!

Updating my review (but still as always five stars): I’ve been going to pure and simple since they first opened ten years ago for both facial services as well as products. They’ve seen my skin change and helped me through early 20s struggles to now early 30s struggles. The team is so responsive, so helpful and just genuinely so kind and caring. You feel that from the moment you step foot in spa, or send them a note with a question. Being able to order online and have quickly local delivery is amazing. The other day I ordered and had my product delivered in less than an hour! Which quite frankly was wild, but so appreciated. Pure and Simple truly is one of my favourite places.

I’ve been visiting Pure & Simple for years and their service, product offering and atmosphere are unmatched in the region. They offer a wide variety of services in the most relaxing atmosphere and the coziest heated beds. It can be overwhelming to figure out the best things for your skin or which products/treatment to use from the endless options on the market. I appreciate knowing that the products sold here have been vetted by the team and that I get sound recommendations from people that truly study this stuff and know what they’re talking about. Beyond all that, the people who work here are so pleasant and fun to interact with, as well as super responsive to any questions that I may have. They also have amazing monthly specials that help if you’re budget conscious and allow you to still get the care from this amazing team, but at a different price point. And my final shout out is to the IS clinical products - game changers and pack a helpful punch in one product rather than needing a 10 product program.

I was graciously given a gift card for Pure + Simple Waterloo by someone who knows the owner and spoke very highly of their services that they offer. I often struggle with self-care and putting myself first, so booking a facial treatment with them was very much needed and appreciated. I was welcomed warmly as soon as I stepped inside, and was treated with kindness, respect and professionalism. I chose the "Choose the Best" natural facial option and Madi was the esthetician who took time to get to know me, my skin type, my concerns and my goals. Once we chatted, I was given the Super Hydrating Facial and it was beyond worth it! I was a bit hesitant choosing the "choose the best" option as I thought they may try to pick the most expensive but that wasn't the case at all. They asked what my budget was and it was clear that they wanted to ensure I had the best treatment for my skin type and comfort level. Madi took time to ask if I wanted silence or a bit of talking and followed me lead with chatting. The whole experience was relaxing and there was no judgement whatsoever at my lack of a daily skin care routine. She made suggestions and provided me with a visual guide of what routine would work best with my skin, and provided me with samples of the products used on me today. The person who was also at the front desk when I left (I'm assuming Kate, the owner, as that was on my receipt) also provided me with lots of information about additional services and when may be a good time to return which was very helpful. Safe to say I will definitely be back - what a great experience! Thank you to the team for helping me feel rejuvenated!

I've been using Pure and Simple products for years, and a customer of the KW Pure and Simple location for the last 4-5 years. I love their products and every facial at the KW location has been amazing. The team is also very knowledgeable and supportive when purchasing products. Highly recommend!

Madi gave me a lovely facial! She was very kind, professional, and “zen”! She asked if I preferred a silent treatment or for her to explain each step, which was appreciated. The spa was very clean, well organized, and comfortable. I will be back :)

Facial was wonderful and I would like to go back, the person on reception though was so unwelcoming and unfriendly it made my whole experience far more disappointing. No greeting as I walked in no help as I looked at products, no welcome as I gave my name. Then when I went to pay she was on the phone. If you were a man buying a voucher then you were greeted well enough.
