As a business owner and someone who has almost always been self-employed, I sometimes see things a bit differently. After seeing 7 RMTs on 5 years, I can safely say that there’s something GOOD happening at Remissio. Practitioners that LISTEN, staff that doesn’t leave you HANGING…in 2025, this is the level of service and expertise that people are looking for. With everything costing more, the VALUE in spending my hard earned dollars (and minimal benefit dollars) at Remissio feels like an investment in me and the return is ten fold! They’ve created something very special, a feeling that everything is “leveled-up” and I’m so glad I found them and will never stop referring those in my circle.
I just had to share my amazing experience with RMT Alexander. From the moment I arrived, his professionalism and genuine care stood out. He took the time to understand my specific needs and areas of tension before starting, and his skill was truly exceptional. What really blew me away was Alexander’s intuitive ability to target my problem areas. I came in with severe muscle tension, especially in my shoulders, and walked out feeling much more flexible and relaxed. I used to suffer from daily headaches, but after just one visit, they’ve disappeared. It’s honestly the best massage experience I’ve ever had. Alexander also provided fantastic advice on stretches and posture to help maintain the benefits. I never realized how much a good massage could improve both my physical and mental well-being. The attention to detail throughout my visit was impressive. If you’re looking for a massage therapist who genuinely cares and delivers results, I highly recommend Alexander. I’ll definitely be back for more sessions!
I am deeply frustrated by my recent experience with this company. In August, I registered my son as a new child client and paid $130 for the services, which were completed on August 30. The payment was made on August 6 when booking the appointment. However, on September 9, I noticed that my credit card had been charged twice- once for 130 and again for 135. When I contacted customer service. I was informed that the additional charges were due to m son being registered under my name, which caused the system to incorrectly show two outstanding payments. To make matter worse, there was no apology from them, I was told it was my fault and that it would takes 5-7days to process a refund. This situation is not only frustrating but also raises serious concerns about the them handling of customer information and billing practices. It is unacceptable to charge customer incorrectly and ten provide poor services in addressing the issue. This experience has left me very disappointed with the way this business operates.
Great experience! Client intake was efficient and hassle-free. Reception was friendly and easy to deal with. Massage with Alex was excellent and I'm already feeling measurable benefits from one treatment. Looking forward to the next visit! Thanks team Remissio!
Love the positive energy in this place. Marc is amazing at finding the hot spots and working the issue out. I really appreciate the non pushy bookings to the follow-up appointments that allow me to reconnect with my body and give me the opportunity to work with my style of treatment. Thank you very much, Remissio, for your amazing energy and time.
Remissio is the place to go! Had Reiki with Alexis, after the most amazing massage with RMT Kass. If you haven't had a Reiki appointment, you need to try it. Alexis has the most wonderful approach and she makes you feel so relaxed and at ease. It truly was a transforming experience and I highly recommend booking with Alexis!
Cass was wonderful and tried her best to work out my soreness. It's going to take more than one session for sure. She's the first masseuse to make me fall asleep on the table. Good Job girl!!!
Absolutely so disgusted by the lack of compassion I had encountered while dealing with this awful place. Last year I dealt with the loss of my boyfriend in a tragic accident. I had a friend kind enough to buy a gift card for me for an hour massage and booked it. Forgetful during this time as I have PTSD from this accident I explained to them the reason for missing. A year has gone by and I called to book an appointment as my friend reminded me I have a gift card that she had bought me. Not only did it expire in February they said I would have to pay for the missed appointment (which makes no sense because the gift care would have covered it but also making you pay for more) and usually I would agree but because of the trauma you would think a 'wellness' place with a mission statement of and I QUOTE " we aim to provide you with the best possible care to help you with your overall wellbeing" would not only give compassion but express their condolences for the pain and suffering I have endured. He was the absolute love of my life and to be so disrespected by a business I could not just sit here and be talked to the way I was over the phone and not do anything about it. Not only do I not recommend this place I would hope no-one would book here. I usually don't post anything like this but I ABSOLUTELY cannot stand the disrespect and im still in disbelief. ps. this review was posted confidentially as to protect my true identity. Businesses are not allowed to put expiry dates on most gift cards, as per the Consumer Protection Act.
